Image
47 year-old Abdullahi Uye Zhiya from Oguma in Bassa Local Government of Kogi State has killed himself by intentionally drinking a dose of substance suspected to be poisonous chemical. His frustration may not be unconnected to the non-payment of his salaries of about twelve months. Close family sources said that for over one year, life had not been favourable as everything turned for the worst for him. Another family source confirmed that he was a hardworking man, and that " because he had been without salary for several months, his situation became unbearable." It was gathered that many relations have been reaching out to him in terms of help, but it was not sufficient as he decided to end it in death. Another version of his story from some of his relatives indicated that the deceased may not have taken his life because of his economic challenges, but that there seemed to be other challenges which he refused to disclose. According to the source, "We suspect that what hap

POSSIBLE NORTH KOREAN DEFECTORS MAY BE OCCUPANTS OF SKELETON FILLED GHOST SHIP FOUND ON JAPAN COAST

A wooden boat, which drifted ashore with eight partially skeletal bodies and was found by the Japan Coast Guard, is seen in Oga, Akita Prefecture, Japan, in this photo taken by Kyodo on November 27, 2017. Mandatory credit… A skeleton-filled ghost ship carrying the remains of eight ill-fated seafarers washed ashore on Japan's North Korean-facing coast, the Japanese Coast Guard said Monday -- days after the body of a suspected North Korean man and parts of another wrecked wooden craft were discovered on a Japanese island. The grisly find could be evidence of desperate defectors trying a new route to freedom after despot Kim Jong Un has clamped down on those fleeing the Hermit Kingdom this year. A Japanese resident spotted the 22-foot wooden boat Friday floating in Miyazawa Beach in Oga, Akita Prefecture, along the Sea of Japan, Japan Times reported. Officials searched the vessel Sunday and Monday and found several of the remains were "skeletonized," indi

"TRUMP WON'T CAMPAIGN FOR ROY MOORE" SAY'S WHITE HOUSE OFFICIAL

Image
WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump will not campaign for Republican Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore before the Dec. 12 special election, a White House official said Monday. The president had held the door open to campaigning for Moore last week, when he all but endorsed his candidacy while attacking his Democratic opponent, Doug Jones. Trump also made public statements in which he raised doubts about the accounts of women who have accused Moore of sexual misconduct decades ago, when they were teenagers and he was in his 30s. The White House official told The Associated Press that Trump would not travel to Alabama on Moore's behalf. The official was not authorized to discuss the president's plans publicly and spoke on condition of anonymity. Over the weekend, Trump took to Twitter to bash Jones, saying that electing the Democrat as Alabama's next senator "would be a disaster" and warning of damage to his legislative agenda. "The last thin

SENATOR McCAIN TELLS CLINTON TO "SHUT UP" LIKE HE DID

Image
Senator John McCain says Hillary Clinton should not have published her book so soon after losing the 2016 election because it makes her look like she's still campaigning and has nothing else to do. "What's the f-----g point? Keep the fight up? History will judge that campaign, and it's always a period of time before they do," McCain told Esquire magazine in a long interview Monday. "You've got to move on. This is Hillary's problem right now: She doesn't have anything to do." McCain, 81, spoke with the magazine about his recent cancer diagnosis and the mutual animosity between him and President Donald Trump. But he had sharp criticism for Clinton as well, arguing that the defeated Democratic candidate should have taken a page from his 2008 presidential run as a Republican against Barack Obama. "One of the almost irresistible impulses you have when you lose is to somehow justify why you lost and how you were mistr

The romantic thriller made the already beloved singer into a movie star as well, became the second biggest hit of 1992, and spawned the biggest-selling soundtrack album of all time. Still, as often as you've watched Kevin Costner rescue Houston, there's much about "The Bodyguard" you may not know, from it's 16-year journey to the screen, to the real-life tragedies behind the production. © Provided by AOL Inc. 1. ROBERT MUGABE DISHONOURABLY RESIGNS AS PRESIDENT OF ZIMBABWE

Image
93-year-old leader steps down one week after he was detained by military Robert Mugabe has resigned as president of Zimbabwe with immediate effect after 37 years in power, the speaker of the country's parliament has said. The announcement came during a parliamentary hearing to impeach him and launches the nation into a new era as uncertain as it is hopeful. The move caps an astonishing eight-day crisis, which started when the military took over last week in order to block the rise to power of Mugabe's wife and her faction within the ruling Zanu-PF party then developed into a popular revolt against the ageing autocrat. A letter submitted to parliament by the 93-year-old said his decision to resign was voluntary on his part. Wild jubilation broke out among MPs when Jacob Mudenda, the speaker, told the parliament and cheers and celebrations spread through the streets of Harare. Impeachment proceedings against Mugabe began earlier on Tuesday as the ruling party, Zanu-PF, attempted
