2 MRN ARRESTED FOR GANG RAPING AND BLACKMAILING A LADY AFTER DRUGGING AND ROBBING HER (PHOTO)

Monday Okoro, an ex-convict recently released from Enugu Prisons; and Chidiebere Oke, have been arrested for specializing in robbing, raping and blackmailing female victims in Enugu.

The state Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Ebere Amaraizu, said the suspects were apprehended by an irate mob, who subjected them to thorough beating to the point of killing them before they were rescued and taken into custody by the police.

The suspects were said to have swindled their female victim of some amount of money and also gang-raped her. They later asked her to be paying them anytime they call her.

Narrating her ordeal, their victim said that on October 26, she came out from her street to Emeka Abalu in Phase Six Trans Ekulu, Enugu to board a tricycle going to Enugu Town. But unfortunately, ran into the tricycle with some boys.

Unknown to her, they were fraudsters and hoodlums operating as tricycle operators. They started telling her that they were foreigners looking for a certain address.

Amaraizu quoted the victim to have said: "Before I knew what was happening, I lost my consciousness and was taken to where I was gang-raped by three of them after collecting all the money in my possession."

The victim added that they later left her at that place but continued calling her the following day with a threat that if the remaining part of the money was not paid, she would face some dire consequences.

They also told her she had taken an oath not to reveal the transaction to anybody to avoid sudden death. But the incident was reported at the Trans Ekulu Division.

Police said the toddler was injured September 20 at the M.E.M. Preschool and Summer Camp on Macon road while he was being watched by Omeika Williams. An Ile-Ife Magistrate Court has remanded one Isreal Ojimi, 38, said to be a prophet and Bose Adetimikan, 27, in prison custody over alleged rituals. The prosecutor, Inspector Emmanuel Abdullahi, told the court that the accused committed the offence on May 20, 2017, around 10:00 pm at Mosarajo area via Ile-Ife. According to him, they had armed themselves with some charms in the form of a garment with an intention to commit felony. He further explained that they conducted themselves in a manner that caused mayhem, adding that their behavior was against the norms and ethics of the nation and had contravened sections 213, 249 (d) and 516 of the State Penal Code. The Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday, May 9, remanded a politician identified as Charles Eni-Umukoro over the murder of his wife, Louisa Eni-Umukoro, who was a director in the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Justice Mary-Anne Aninih ordered the remand of Eni-Umukoro in Kuje Prison, FCT pending the hearing of his bail application. The Inspector General of Police (IGP) in February charged Umukoro with culpable homicide, which is punishable with death under Section 221 of the Penal Code. Amilcar Henriquez shot dead in his Panama home . Police in Panama say national team soccer player Amilcar Henriquez has been shot dead while leaving his home. The press chief for Panama’s National Police says the killing happened Saturday in the country’s Colon province. Authorities say a gunman shot the 33-year-old midfielder several times. Another two people were wounded. The player died at a nearby hospital. President Juan Carlos Varela has condemned the killing on his Twitter account. February 15 2017 A homicide investigation is underway Wednesday after two bodies, presumed to be missing 13-year-olds Liberty German and Abigail Williams, were found on Tuesday. The two school friends were last seen on Monday afternoon after they went for a hike along the Delphi Historic Trail in Carroll County, Indiana - just a few miles from home. Sgt.
