BREAKING NEWS ;DSS FINALLY BRINGS DASUKI TO COURT OVER METUH'S TRIAL

The Department of State Service, DSS, on Wednesday brought former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, to an Abuja Federal High Court.

The development was in compliance with an order by the court.
Dasuki decked in a light blue attire with a cap to match arrived the court in company of DSS operatives, ahead of the commencement of the trial of Olisah Metuh, former spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Metuh is on trial before Justice Okon Abang for allegedly receiving the sum of N400m from the Office of the NSA under the leadership of Dasuki before the 2015 presidential election.

MAN WHO KIDNAPPED OWN GF AND RECEIVED N200K RANSOM ARRESTED ALONGSIDE OTHERS

Benue State Police Command has busted two kidnap syndicate of 8 including a Gang of 4 allegedly led by a woman believed to be an associate of the wanted militant leader, Terwase Agwaza, aka Gana, who a week ago abducted a businessman. The police operation also led to the arrest of three women whose responsibilities were to provide food for the victims, who was rescued alive. The businessman was kidnapped alongside his son, who was later released to source N20 million as ransom for his father.  The state's Police Commissioner, Bashir Makama, said: "During investigations, we discovered that the lady, who was arrested had the responsibility of pencilling down those to be kidnapped and those to be killed by the gang. They are all associates of Gana, the wanted militant leader. Also arrested, after reliable information, is one Victor Ayanngor, who conspired with Ordue Abraham, Kelvin Dankor and Emmanuel Terver to kidnap his girlfriend and collect N200,000 ransom."

Armed Robber Burnt To Death In Calabar By Mob After Juju Failed February 16, 2017 A dead man was found lying by the side of the Nigerian Navy Reference Hospital, Murtala Mohammed Highway, closed to RCC roundabout, Calabar after he was burnt to death by an angry mob. 3 SUSPECTED THIEVES ARRESTED AT THE LAGOS HIGH COURT

File Photo The Police at the Lion Building Division, Lagos Island, Lagos have arrested three suspected thieves who allegedly jumped into the High Court premises at Igbosere Road on Lagos Island at midnight with dangerous weapons to steal. The suspects, according to a Police source could not succeed in their plans before the Police stormed the scene to arrest them and took them to the station following a distress call to the Police by the securitymen attached to the Court. The suspects were arraigned before an Igbosere Magistrate Court on a three-count charge of felony with attempt to commit felony at the High Court, Lagos. Police identified the accused persons as Ahmed Mohammed, 29; Musa Yusuf 22 and Sulaimaan Umar, 28, all from the Northern parts of Nigeria. JAILED: NIGERIAN PREDATOR PRETENDING TO BE A 17-YR-OLD AFRICAN PRINCE, TO SEXUALLY ASSAULT TEEN GIRLS A “predator” who groomed two teenage girls online before sexually assaulting them has been jailed for 7 years. Taheeb Udusole, 27, met his victims on social media while pretending to be a 17-year-old boy called, Daniel, who was rich due to his father being an African king.  The unemployed Nigerian offered the girls, aged 14 and 15, gifts and money while he sent taxis to collect them and bring them near his home in south-east London. The victims, who did not know each other, both thought that ‘Daniel’ was their boyfriend and made their allegations to police independently.
