HOUSE WIFE ALLEGEDLY KILLS HUSBAND OVER BABA IJEBU(LOTTO) March 6th 2017, FOR allegedly killing her husband, a 29-year-old housewife, Onyechukwu Akunne, was on Monday arraigned before an Ikeja High Court for stabbing her husband, Abuchi Akunne, 35, to death with a kitchen knife. The accused, who was charged before Justice Josephine Efunkunbi Oyefeso (Mrs), pleaded not guilty to a one count charge of murder. According to the state prosecution, Mrs C.K Tunji-Carena, Mrs Onyechukwu allegedly committed the offence on the 28th March, 2015 at No.58, Idimu Road, Ejigbo, Lagos State. She was accused of killing her husband Abuchi Akunne by stabbing him on the chest with a kitchen knife which led to his death. Onyechukwu was married to the deceased in 2012 and had a 4 year old girl with him. According to The Nation report, The three male teachers were reportedly abducted on Monday while returning from school. Three other female teachers who were said to be in the company of the abducted teachers were allowed to go by the kidnappers. Students of the school on Tuesday abandoned classes and took to the Benin-Akure express road to protest their teachers’ abduction. The students set up bonfires on the road and left passengers and motorists stranded on the road for many hours. EFCC Recovers More Vehicles And Bikes From Ex-Customs Boss March 01 2017 Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has recovered vehicles and motorcycles from former Comptroller-General of Customs, Abdullahi Dikko Inde days after the  agency seized 17 exotic cars from a Kaduna warehouse belonging to Dikko. The latest items recovered include a 2013 model 32-seater Nissan bus, 42 cargo tricycles, one tipper truck, 16 motorcycles, over 500 rug carpets and two fire-proof safes.  Zonal Head, EFCC Kaduna, Bappa Ibrahim while briefing journalists on Tuesday said the recovery was based on intelligence report and tip-off . According to Ibrahim, the warehouse is located at Nnamdi Azikiwe Express Way,around NASFAT village, in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State. I was shocked the more when I saw him swimming inside the gutter with ease in exchange for any paltry sum that will come from his numerous unsolicited employers. “I nearly blamed Buhari for what this man does to earn a living until I was told that he drinks ‘kai kai’ the way I drink water. 97 Nigerians deported from South Africa February 28 2017 About 97 Nigerians have been deported from South Africa for alleged civil and criminal offences. The deportees – 95 males and two females – arrived at Murtala Muhammed International Airport from Johannesburg on Monday night. Those accused of criminal offences were handed over to the police for prosecution, while those accused of committing civil offences were allowed to go home. This is coming a few days after a South African mob attacked Nigerians and their businesses in the country. The Nigerian government condemned the attacks, and also threatened consequences if they are not checked. The Nigerian senate has also resolved to send a strong delegation to the country to protest against the attacks. Obasanjo spotted in reading session with school children (photo) February 28  2017 Former president Olusegun Obasanjo has take a new dimension to celebrate his 80th birthday . Daily Trust reports that the ex-president took the train of celebration to some public-school students at his Ibogun village, near Ifo, Ogun state. He was spotted in a reading session with them. This is part of activities to mark his 80th birthday celebrations. He was in the company of his wife, Bola and some of his close allies as they were received by the school children drawn from Berly Chrysolite school (primary and secondary), Ewupe, Baptist Day school, Ibogun and baptist day school, Idi aga among others. As at time of this report, the former president was telling a popular fable of the legendary tortoise. How nice!

Sleep longer for better sex,researchers advise women FEBRUARY 28, 2017 The longer women sleep, the more likely they are to want and enjoy sex, according to a research conducted by the North American menopause society. According to the study, sleep problems can interfere with a woman’s level of sexual satisfaction. Data analysed for 93,668 women aged 50 to 79 years showed that short sleep duration was associated with lower odds of sexual satisfaction. Short sleep duration was defined as fewer than 7 to 8 hours per night. 56% of the participants reported being somewhat or very satisfied with their current sexual activity while 52% reported partnered sexual activity within the last year. Insomnia prevalence was 31%. Older women were less likely to be sexually active if they slept fewer than 7 to 8 hours per night compared with younger women.
