Arsenal Congratulate Iwobi After Scoring Firing Nigeria To Russia 2018Alex Iwobi and team mates celebrating his goal against Zambia.

 

Arsenal have congratulated Alex Iwobi over Nigeria’s qualification for the 2018 World Cup. 
The Hale End graduate netted the lone goal of the game against the Chipolopolo of Zambia.
And the Gunners took to their official Twitter handle to congratulate Austine Jay-Jay Okocha’s nephew for the victory.
“From coming through our academy to sending Nigeria to the World Cup. We’re all so proud of you,” the North London team tweeted.
The Super Eagles will now go into the last game of the qualifiers, against Algeria, with calmed nerves having got thirteen points from five games.

French police officer fatally shot three people on a street near Paris before killing himself, according to reports. The incident was part of an apparent domestic dispute in which the officer's girlfriend, her mother and sister were injured, the BBC reported. Her father and two passers-by were killed in the shooting which happened in the town of Sarcelles late on Saturday. The mayor of Sarcelles, north of Paris, said the woman had recently told her partner that she was breaking up with him, according to the BBC. The officer first killed two people with his service weapon on the street, Le Monde newspaper said. Sarcelles Mayor François Pupponi reporters that the passers-by killed had no connection with the officer. The Rivers state deputy governor, Dr Ipalibo Banigo, in a statement on Wednesday in Port Harcourt, asked the Police and other law enforcement agen­cies to ensure that the suspect is re-arrested and brought to justice without delay. She stressed that the report that the suspect es­caped from the hands of the Investigating Police Officer (IPO) is "totally unaccept­able and very embarrass­ing." Policemen from the Ipakodo division have arrested a suspected killer of a family of three in Ibeshe Titun, in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State. It was learnt that the suspect, whose identity had yet to be ascertained, was arrested on Tuesday in the community. A resident, who asked not to be identified, said the suspect had been taken into custody and was being interrogated by the police. He said, “The man was arrested this morning (Tuesday) and he confessed to being a member of the gang that attacked and killed members of the family. He was beaten to a pulp by an angry mob as he also mentioned the names of their sponsors.
