Arsenal Congratulate Iwobi After Scoring Firing Nigeria To Russia 2018Alex Iwobi and team mates celebrating his goal against Zambia.

 

Arsenal have congratulated Alex Iwobi over Nigeria’s qualification for the 2018 World Cup. 
The Hale End graduate netted the lone goal of the game against the Chipolopolo of Zambia.
And the Gunners took to their official Twitter handle to congratulate Austine Jay-Jay Okocha’s nephew for the victory.
“From coming through our academy to sending Nigeria to the World Cup. We’re all so proud of you,” the North London team tweeted.
The Super Eagles will now go into the last game of the qualifiers, against Algeria, with calmed nerves having got thirteen points from five games.

48 BODIES OF TERRORIST ATTACKS RECOVERED

The extent of the fatality recorded during last Tuesday's ambush of oil exploration workers in the Lake Chad Basin by the terrorist group, Boko Haram, emerged Thursday as THISDAY sources said 48 bodies of the victims of the attack were deposited at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH) mortuary. The information came just as Acting President Yemi Osinbajo met with service chiefs Thursday in Abuja over the resurgence of terrorist attacks in the country and ordered them to relocate to Maiduguri, the epicentre of the Boko Haram terror. A suspected ritual killer, Adebayo Mudashiru, has confessed that he and his colleagues buy human parts, including skulls, eyes and teeth, for N12,000. The suspect was arrested alongside three others in the Abeokuta and Owode Egba areas of the state by men of the Ogun State Police Command. The state Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, paraded the suspects at the headquarters of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Magbon, Abeokuta over the weekend. Iliyasu said the four suspects specialized in killing for ritual purposes and belonged to two different ritual groups. He said one of the groups, comprising Mudashiru and Rasheed Abass, who resided in the Totoro area of Abeokuta, were arrested on 5 October by operatives of FSARS.
