Yesterday the 7th of October made history in the life of this great man and his family as he gave out one of his beautiful daughters,Omolola in marriage .The engagement ceremony which took place at the palatial home of the Asiwaju on Friday throughout and into the early hours of Saturday witnessed guests from far and wide and allover the country.Special dignitaries amongst who where royal fathers,chiefs,politicians,uniform men and even business tycoons graced the occasion to honour one of their own,Chief Felix Ilesanmi,business tycoon,the Asiwaju of Kereku land.Below are photos from the occasion as we wish the newly weds a happy married life,

AUTOPSY REVEALS REAL CAUSE OF JOY ODAMA DEATH

Late Joy Odama Autopsy has revealed that Joy Odama who was allegedly killed by an Alhaji in Abuja, died after inhaling carbon monoxide fumes. Joy Odama, a 200 level undergraduate Mass Communication student at Cross River State University, according to her mother was murdered by Usman Adamu. Contrary to the bereaved woman's allegation, the police reports that the result of the autopsy found carbon monoxide fumes in her body. This result is also contrary to that of another medical official, Dr Jibrin, who claimed that the girl died after taking cocaine. According to the Force Spokesman, Jimoh Moshood, who spoke with journalist, the new report done by CP Wilson Akhiwu a consultant, revealed that Joy died after inhaling carbon monoxide fumes. The spokesman, debunking reports of police cover up said that the suspect, Usman Adamu has been arrested and would soon be charged to court. LAGOS NEW POLCOM ORDERS ARREST OF 3 CORRUPT POLICE OFFICERS

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Imohimi Edgal, has ordered the 'X' Squad of the Command to arrest three Police officers, who were reportedly caught extorting motorists in Surulere area of the state. In a statement by spokesperson of the Command, Olarinde Famous-Cole, said the Police boss also ordered the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Administration of the Command to issue a query to the Divisional Police Officer in-charge of the affected area. According to the statement, the Police Commissioner equally said a report on the conduct of the senior officer will be sent to higher authorities for poorly supervising his men. He also ordered that, henceforth, only heads of departments, area commanders and divisional police officers, who are directly in charge of their departments or stations, are allowed to sign a detention order in the command.The statement said the command will no longer tolerate unnecessary detention of citizens. TERRORIST'S EX-WIFE ARRESTED

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps(NSCDC) says it has arrested the former wife of Mamman Nur,a factional Boko Haram leader in Borno state.Ibrahim Abdullahi, NSCDC commandant in the state, disclosed this while speaking with reporters on Tuesday. He said his men arrested two female suspects in Maiduguri, the state capital, on Friday. Abdullahi said at first they were suspected to be suicide bombers but that findings revealed that the two suspects were from Sambisa forest, and were heading to Kangarwa camp to meet the factional leader of the sect.  “One of the suspect claimed that she is the ex-wife of the factional Boko Haram leader,” he said. “They said they escaped from a camp in Sambisa forest after Nigerian troops attack the terrorists.”  Abdullahi said the suspects were abandoned by the Boko Haram commander who asked them to wait in Maiduguri pending the time he would provide them accommodation.
