Yesterday the 7th of October made history in the life of this great man and his family as he gave out one of his beautiful daughters,Omolola in marriage .The engagement ceremony which took place at the palatial home of the Asiwaju on Friday throughout and into the early hours of Saturday witnessed guests from far and wide and allover the country.Special dignitaries amongst who where royal fathers,chiefs,politicians,uniform men and even business tycoons graced the occasion to honour one of their own,Chief Felix Ilesanmi,business tycoon,the Asiwaju of Kereku land.Below are photos from the occasion as we wish the newly weds a happy married life,

48 BODIES OF TERRORIST ATTACKS RECOVERED

The extent of the fatality recorded during last Tuesday's ambush of oil exploration workers in the Lake Chad Basin by the terrorist group, Boko Haram, emerged Thursday as THISDAY sources said 48 bodies of the victims of the attack were deposited at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH) mortuary. The information came just as Acting President Yemi Osinbajo met with service chiefs Thursday in Abuja over the resurgence of terrorist attacks in the country and ordered them to relocate to Maiduguri, the epicentre of the Boko Haram terror. Moved by the recent carnage, the Governor of Borno State, Alhaji Kashim Shettima, commiserated with the families of the victims and expressed his regrets that the attack had set back the progress being made in the war against terror. PDP crisis: I never accepted Sheriff as party’s National Chairman – Makarfi MARCH 8TH,2017 The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Caretaker Committee Chairman, Ahmed Makarfi has described claims that he endorsed Ali Modu Sheriff as National Chairman and agreed to the proposed June 30 convention as false. Makarfi made the remark while reacting to the recommendations of the party’s Reconciliation committee headed by Governor Seriake Dickson. Dickson-led committee which had on Tuesday submitted its technical report to Sheriff had recommended that the party holds its national convention on June 30. A suspected ritual killer, Adebayo Mudashiru, has confessed that he and his colleagues buy human parts, including skulls, eyes and teeth, for N12,000. The suspect was arrested alongside three others in the Abeokuta and Owode Egba areas of the state by men of the Ogun State Police Command. The state Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, paraded the suspects at the headquarters of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Magbon, Abeokuta over the weekend. Iliyasu said the four suspects specialized in killing for ritual purposes and belonged to two different ritual groups. He said one of the groups, comprising Mudashiru and Rasheed Abass, who resided in the Totoro area of Abeokuta, were arrested on 5 October by operatives of FSARS. How Lagos NURTW member allegedly stabbed Vice Chairman over girlfriend MARCH 9TH 2017, Two members of National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) Palm Grove branch in Lagos, Ayodele Muyiwa and James Friday are in police net for allegedly stabbing the Vice Chairman of the union over a girlfriend.
