Yesterday the 7th of October made history in the life of this great man and his family as he gave out one of his beautiful daughters,Omolola in marriage .The engagement ceremony which took place at the palatial home of the Asiwaju on Friday throughout and into the early hours of Saturday witnessed guests from far and wide and allover the country.Special dignitaries amongst who where royal fathers,chiefs,politicians,uniform men and even business tycoons graced the occasion to honour one of their own,Chief Felix Ilesanmi,business tycoon,the Asiwaju of Kereku land.Below are photos from the occasion as we wish the newly weds a happy married life,

No fewer than 700 suspected cultists and 38 suspected armed robbers were arrested in different parts of Anambra in the last three weeks, Garba Umar, the state commissioner of police, has said. A few days after a director in the Kogi State civil service reportedly killed himself over unpaid emolument, 40 Nigerian senators have donated at least 1,260 bags of rice to civil servants in Kogi State, a lawmaker said. Kogi is one of the many states currently owing workers' salaries and entitlements. The senators reportedly made the donation at the instance of one of their colleagues, Dino Melaye, Kogi-APC Earlier at the plenary, Mr. Melaye had called the attention of the Senate to thesuffering of civil servants in Kogi State. Former Chairman of the Pension Reform Task Team, Abdulrasheed Maina wrote a letter to Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki before he went into hiding revealing that over N3 trillion hidden pension fund is yet to be mopped from 97 pension offices.
