Yesterday the 7th of October made history in the life of this great man and his family as he gave out one of his beautiful daughters,Omolola in marriage .The engagement ceremony which took place at the palatial home of the Asiwaju on Friday throughout and into the early hours of Saturday witnessed guests from far and wide and allover the country.Special dignitaries amongst who where royal fathers,chiefs,politicians,uniform men and even business tycoons graced the occasion to honour one of their own,Chief Felix Ilesanmi,business tycoon,the Asiwaju of Kereku land.Below are photos from the occasion as we wish the newly weds a happy married life,

47 year-old Abdullahi Uye Zhiya from Oguma in Bassa Local Government of Kogi State has killed himself by intentionally drinking a dose of substance suspected to be poisonous chemical. His frustration may not be unconnected to the non-payment of his salaries of about twelve months. Close family sources said that for over one year, life had not been favourable as everything turned for the worst for him. Cleveland police were searching Saturday for suspects after six children were shot, including a 12-year-old struck fatally, outside of a liquor store. An preliminary investigation into the Friday night shooting indicated that the suspects approached the store on foot and opened fire just after 7 p.m. ET before fleeing the scene, said Cleveland Police Chief Calvin Williams. The 12-year-old victim, who was not immediately named, was the son of the liquor store's owner. The 40-year-old father ran outside to investigate the noise when he discovered his son had been shot in the torso and was unresponsive, police said.
