Yesterday the 7th of October made history in the life of this great man and his family as he gave out one of his beautiful daughters,Omolola in marriage .The engagement ceremony which took place at the palatial home of the Asiwaju on Friday throughout and into the early hours of Saturday witnessed guests from far and wide and allover the country.Special dignitaries amongst who where royal fathers,chiefs,politicians,uniform men and even business tycoons graced the occasion to honour one of their own,Chief Felix Ilesanmi,business tycoon,the Asiwaju of Kereku land.Below are photos from the occasion as we wish the newly weds a happy married life,

EX GOVERNOR SULE LAMIDO REMANDED IN PRISON CUSTODY AMIDST PROTESTS

Heavily armed policemen on Tuesday in Dutse, Jigawa State capital, fired teargas canisters at a crowd that gathered at the Chief Magistrate Court Two for the arraignment of former governor Sule Lamido, who is being tried for making inciting remarks. Counsel for the Jigawa State Government, Ikenna Ekpunobi, insisted that Lamido should not be granted bail until investigation was completed. Emphasising that Lamido was charged with disturbing public peace and inciting public disturbance, Ekpunobi argued that the allegations were contrary to the provisions of the Criminal Code of Jigawa State. However, Lamido’s counsel, Felix Osimerah, quoting Section 36, sub-section 5 of the 1999 Constitution, argued that Lamido should be presumed innocent even as he stressed that the offences were bailable. A middle aged man has been arrested in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital for being in possession of human parts. Tribune Online gathered that the suspect had been under surveillance of residents of Ita Kudimo, Abata Suban, Pakata area of Ilorin West local government in the past few days after speculation grew that he possessed a corpse in his building. It was also gathered that the neighbours of the suspect swooped on his residence at about noon on Sunday and the suspect was allegedly caught with human parts. He was later dragged to Adewole Police station in the Ilorin metropolis amidst shouting and rain of curses by the crowd of people. The comedian told Sunday Scoop that it is a blessing to have a child whose only concern is getting vaccinated monthly with no health complications. "This is just a case of a person who has refused to seek help. It is obvious that Kemi has decided to bully my daughter. Stranger than fiction as DEMONS burn down over 20 houses in Western Kenya March 10th, 2017 Kenyans were stunned when a fire burned down 25 homes in Kaibei, Trans Nzoia county on Thursday, March 9. What shocked most was the alleged cause of the fire as residents claimed evil spirits caused the fire that began at one house before spreading to 24 others, burning everything to ashes. ROUND LAKE BEACH.– Three teens have been charged after a suburban Illinois father was killed while trying to sell his iPhone using the popular app OfferUp, according to WGN-TV. Police say 43-year-old Trinidad Bueno-Sanchez of North Chicago, a married man with a 6-year-old child, did everything right when trying to sell his cellphone. Using OfferUp, he found a potential buyer who expressed interest in purchasing his iPhone 6 for $450, and agreed to meet them in the parking lot of a Meijer store in Round Lake Beach the evening of April 24. Five teens met him in the lot. Police said Bueno-Sanchez leaned inside the suspects’ vehicle during the exchange. “They asked to see the phone so he handed them the phone,” Deputy Chief Mike Scott of Round Lake Beach Police said. “Then they handed him an envelope that was supposed to be the money for the phone. Sule Lamido, the former governor of Jigawa state, has attributed his arrest and perceived persecution to his desire to run for president in 2019. This was disclosed by his chief press secretary, Umar Kyari, in a chat with The Vanguard on Monday.
