Yesterday the 7th of October made history in the life of this great man and his family as he gave out one of his beautiful daughters,Omolola in marriage .The engagement ceremony which took place at the palatial home of the Asiwaju on Friday throughout and into the early hours of Saturday witnessed guests from far and wide and allover the country.Special dignitaries amongst who where royal fathers,chiefs,politicians,uniform men and even business tycoons graced the occasion to honour one of their own,Chief Felix Ilesanmi,business tycoon,the Asiwaju of Kereku land.Below are photos from the occasion as we wish the newly weds a happy married life,

NSCDC operatives File The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) said it discovered an illegal refinery in a rented apartment in Sokoto state. The NSCDC Commandant in the state, Babangida Dutsin-ma, made this known in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday in Sokoto. Dutsin-ma said the commandant's surveillance team discovered the "mini refinery" located in a rented apartment owned by a popular Sokoto businessman, along Bodinga road in the outskirt of Sokoto metropolis. THE FIRST LADY CARRYING THE BABY Following the shocking story of a little toddler being raped in Kano, the wife of the President and the Emir of Kano have paid a visit to the innocent victim. The wife of the President, Mrs. Aisha Buhari, and the Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II, on Saturday, condemned the rape of a six-month-old baby, stressing that the culprit must be made to face the music. The infant, who is now eight months old, was allegedly violated by 30-year-old Muktakar Muhammad, assisted by his wife. Mrs. Buhari, who paid the baby a visit at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, Kano State, described the rape case as man’s inhumanity to man. She also commended the Kano State Government for taking measures to save the life of the minor. The Rivers State Police Command has nabbed a suspected cultist, who allegedly used a kidnap victim's intestines to prepare pepper soup. The Command also disclosed that two more suspects have been arrested in connection with the ritual killing of the eight-year-old girl, Miss Chikamso Mezuwuba, by a suspected ritualist, Ifeanyichikwu Dike. Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr. Ahmed Zaki, said this, yesterday in Port Harcourt while parading 23 suspected armed robbers, cultists and kidnappers, arrested by the tactical unit of the command. Zaki noted that the arrested cultists had kidnapped one Pastor Samuel Okpara of Edoha community, Ahoada East Local Government Area, killed, beheaded the victim and was cooking his intestines before they were caught. The  Police in Lagos have warned residents of the state against subjecting suspected criminals to jungle justice. Fatai Owoseni, the state police commissioner, in a statement on Friday warned that those found involved in the "unlawful and barbaric act" would be prosecuted.   "There is no justification for jungle justice on suspected persons," Mr. Owoseni said.   "It is barbaric and uncivilized. It is a manifestation of the erosion of our moral values and a disregard to sanctity of human lives.
