POLICE VOW TO FISH OUT CULPRITS BEHIND THE ATTACK OF KING'S PALACE

The Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG) in charge of Zone 11, Agboola Oshodi-Glover, has vowed that the five gunmen who shot sporadically at the palace of the Olubadan, Oba Saliu Adetunji would be brought to justice. The incident occurred on Monday during the installation of Baales (village heads). The Police boss, who is in charge of Oyo, Osun and Ondo states, added that security will be beefed up around the palace. Oshodi-Glover said this on Tuesday while playing a courtesy visit on the Olubadan in the company of the Oyo State Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Odude and other top police officers in the state. He regretted that the police had no hint of the attack as that would have enabled it stop it from happening. Masaba, dies at 93 leaving behind 86 wives and over 170 children     The controversial super-polygamist and Islamic preacher, Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar Bello Masaba is dead. He died yesterday afternoon after a brief illness in his Bida residence.
