Ekiti state governor Ayodele Fayose has declared that he would rule Nigeria as President and commander-in-chief very soon.

Ayo Fayose believes that in his future is presidency of Nigeria.

Speaking during a live interview on Focus Nigeria, a political show on African Independent Television,on Tuesday, February 21, Fayose said: "It is not by power. It is destiny. Even I did not believe it becoming Ekiti governor after eight years of leaving office.

"I will be the vice president of Nigeria, even the President very soon.

Fayose attacked Ali Modu Sheriff, saying the former Borno state governor had no popular support as given to Senator Ahmed Makarfi.

"He is a general without an army. If democracy is about people and party politics is about people, tell Senator Ali Modu Sheriff to bring out the people behind him.

"You will see all the senators at our own meetings, who are those behind Sheriff? When holding a press conference, they will use camera to control them like this, just about three of them."

Fayose also accused Ali Modu Sheriff of tricking the PDP in order to run for the position of President in 2019.

Just on Monday, February 20, Fayose said that every morning he carries "the bible bullets to fight the APC"

Fayose, who serves as the chairman of the Peopls Democratic Party (PDP) Governors' Forum made the remark at the party's stakeholders' meeting in Abuja.

Jerusalem – The U.S. Army has inaugurated its first military base in Israel,which sends a message of readiness to Iran in the region, local media reported on Tuesday. The base's opening comes as Israel faces a slew of regional threats, especially from its Iran, Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth said. The Israeli military said the new base is located inside an existing Israel Air Force base in the southern region. The American military base houses dozens of U.S. soldiers operating radar device alongside Israeli soldiers as U.S. radar has been operational on site for a decade, using American civilians to operate it.

COURT ORDERS FORFEITURE OF MONIES IN BANK ACCOUNTS NOT LINKED TO BVN

A Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered the forfeiture of all monies in bank accounts owned by corporate organisations, government agencies or individuals that are without bank verification number (BVN). The forfeiture order, which was issued by Justice Dimgba Igwe, while ruling on an exparte application filed by the Federal Government through the Office of the Attorney General of the Federation, is not final yet. The owners of the accounts will have 14 days to claim ownership of same and show cause why the proceeds in the accounts should not be permanently forfeited to the Federal Government. The Federal Government had sought an interim order directing all the money deposit banks (commercial banks) to disclose/declare all individual and corporate accounts in their custody not covered by BVN and for an interim order of forfeiture of the monies therein being accounts with insufficient know your customer guidelines contrary to the directive of the CBN and Section 3 of the Money Launder...

Ms Hansen's family said they were shocked and devastated by her death. A 20-year-old man has been charged following a fatal hit and run that killed a Melbourne nurse, Victorian police have confirmed. The 20-year-old was arrested at an address in Fulton Road in Blackburn South on Thursday evening. A teenager has described helping his mother and her housemate lay tiles in the backyard of their "creepy" house where the two women are alleged to have murdered and buried his "excellent friend" Aaron Pajich. Three persons in the business of luring and kidnapping girls for the purpose of killing and selling their parts have been arrested by the Ondo State police command.They have also confessed to have been involved in the kidnapping of students of the Adeyemi College of Education in Ondo town.
