RAWLINGS IS MY BROTHER-PETE EDOCHIE

Rawlings is my brother. 

Renowned Nollywood actor Pete Edochie says he does not only bear resemblance to former President Jerry John Rawlings, he sees him as a brother.
According to him, he sees Ghana as his second home especially when he was born on the 7th March a day after the country marks its independence celebration.
"I will be 70 on the 7th of next month and I see Ghana as my second home. I will try to come and commemorate the independence celebration here ", he said.

The veteran actor said prior to meeting the former president, everywhere he went people of Ghanaian origin said he reminds them of their former president to the extent her own daughters joined in the fray.
"I agree with people who saw we have the resemblance because I know how I look and seeing him here I have no doubt they are right. It appears we have a lot in common".
The Nollywood Star is in Ghana for a Press Conference of Kofas Media's New Movie on corruption in society which casts leading Ghanaian actors and actresses.

JAPAN ;REPORTER DIES AFTER 159 HOURS OF OVERTIME

Japanese workers famously put in long hours, leading, in extreme cases, to karoshi, or death from overwork. Japanese media outfit, NHK, has apologized to the parents of deceased Japanese reporter, Miwa Sado, who died of heart failure after reportedly working for 159 hours of overtime in a month. Sado, who had been covering political news in Tokyo was found dead in her bed in July 2013, reportedly clutching her mobile phone. "The chairman met the parents at their home in the morning and apologised," an NHK spokesman told AFP. A government inquest a year after her death ruled that it was linked to excessive overtime. She had taken two days off in the month before she died. NHK eventually made the case public four years later, bowing to pressure from Sado's parents to take action to prevent a recurrence. The State Security Service (SSS), on Saturday, announced the arrest of Husseini Maitangaran, a top commander of by Islamic State of West Africa (ISWA), otherwise known as Boko Haram. He was arrested in Kano on 31 August.  Maitangaran, according to a statement issued by the service, spearheaded several deadly attacks in Kano in 2012. One 14-year-old from Florida was tricked into believing he was talking to a girl, then blackmailed into repeatedly raping his one-year-old niece.
