Rawlings is my brother. 

Renowned Nollywood actor Pete Edochie says he does not only bear resemblance to former President Jerry John Rawlings, he sees him as a brother.
According to him, he sees Ghana as his second home especially when he was born on the 7th March a day after the country marks its independence celebration.
"I will be 70 on the 7th of next month and I see Ghana as my second home. I will try to come and commemorate the independence celebration here ", he said.

The veteran actor said prior to meeting the former president, everywhere he went people of Ghanaian origin said he reminds them of their former president to the extent her own daughters joined in the fray.
"I agree with people who saw we have the resemblance because I know how I look and seeing him here I have no doubt they are right. It appears we have a lot in common".
The Nollywood Star is in Ghana for a Press Conference of Kofas Media's New Movie on corruption in society which casts leading Ghanaian actors and actresses.

A man has been arrested by the Egyptian police after he allegedly admitted to beating his 85-year-old mother to death because his wife complained about her. Zeinab as-Sayyid Mahfouz died at a hospital in Alexandria on September 15 after what many speculated to be domestic violence. Police officers The Ondo State Police Command says it had arrested three suspects in connection with the alleged kidnapping and killing of two female students of the Adeyemi College of Education in Ondo state. The Public Relations Officer of the command, Femi Joseph, revealed that one of the suspects was arrested on Friday after participating in a robbery operation in Ondo town, while the other accomplices were arrested on Saturday. Victims It was gathered that the two students, Oladepo Blessing and Oluwasemilore Mary, had earlier been declared missing, while their whereabouts was unknown. According to the PPRO, the suspects are John Adenikiri, also known as Emir; Fisayo Fasanu, aka Abore; and a herbalist, Alfa Abdurafiu. 2 GERMAN ARCHAEOLOGISTS KIDNAPPED IN KADUNA REGAIN FREEDOM 26TH FEB 2017, The two German archaeologists kidnapped recently in kaduna state have regained their freedom. Channels Television reports that Professor Peter Breunia and Johannes Behirnger, were released unhurt in the night of Saturday, February 25 by their abductors. They were released in Katari village, along the Kaduna-Abuja expressway, according to the report. The Governors allegedly diverted funds from the London-Paris Club refunds, The Nation reports.
