Rawlings is my brother. 

Renowned Nollywood actor Pete Edochie says he does not only bear resemblance to former President Jerry John Rawlings, he sees him as a brother.
According to him, he sees Ghana as his second home especially when he was born on the 7th March a day after the country marks its independence celebration.
"I will be 70 on the 7th of next month and I see Ghana as my second home. I will try to come and commemorate the independence celebration here ", he said.

The veteran actor said prior to meeting the former president, everywhere he went people of Ghanaian origin said he reminds them of their former president to the extent her own daughters joined in the fray.
"I agree with people who saw we have the resemblance because I know how I look and seeing him here I have no doubt they are right. It appears we have a lot in common".
The Nollywood Star is in Ghana for a Press Conference of Kofas Media's New Movie on corruption in society which casts leading Ghanaian actors and actresses.

T wenty six year-old Alice Awuor Omito from Rongo, Migori County, Kenya, has shocked many after confessing that preparing the dead for burial is the one thing that makes her happy. The employee of Rosewood Funeral Home in Rongo said that she dropped out of nursing school after fears that she would not secure employment after school. The mortician began working as a morgue attendant at Star Mortuary in Kisumu two years ago, aged 24 before transferring to Rosewood in Rongo and says that she can't imagine being away from the dead. POLICE INTERCEPT TWO VEHICLES CARRYING ARMS

The Zamfara State Police Command on Wednesday intercepted two vehicles carrying arms in different parts of the state. The spokesman of the command, Muhammad Shehu, confirmed the development in Gusau. He told the News Agency of Nigeria that items recovered from the vehicles were three AK47 riffles, an automatic pistol, locally-made pistol, magazines and live ammunitions. According to him, other items recovered include N103, 435 cash, ATM card, three voters’ cards, military camouflage and a stamp of the Cattle Traders Association of Nigeria in the Bukuru Local Government Area of Plateau.
