Rawlings is my brother. 

Renowned Nollywood actor Pete Edochie says he does not only bear resemblance to former President Jerry John Rawlings, he sees him as a brother.
According to him, he sees Ghana as his second home especially when he was born on the 7th March a day after the country marks its independence celebration.
"I will be 70 on the 7th of next month and I see Ghana as my second home. I will try to come and commemorate the independence celebration here ", he said.

The veteran actor said prior to meeting the former president, everywhere he went people of Ghanaian origin said he reminds them of their former president to the extent her own daughters joined in the fray.
"I agree with people who saw we have the resemblance because I know how I look and seeing him here I have no doubt they are right. It appears we have a lot in common".
The Nollywood Star is in Ghana for a Press Conference of Kofas Media's New Movie on corruption in society which casts leading Ghanaian actors and actresses.

30 NEW ILLEGAL REFINERIES FOUND IN RIVERS STATE

Victor Choji, the Executive Officer of the Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS) Pathfinder, Port Harcourt, said this during the destruction of one of the illegal refineries on Thursday. He said all the refineries were discovered in Asari Toru Local Government area of Rivers, with 40 huge metallic storage tanks . The News Agency of Nigeria reports that some of the storage tanks were filled with petroleum products suspected to be diesel and crude oil. Choji noted that the discovery was in continuation of the current mop-up of illegal refineries and illicit bunkering of petroleum products by crude oil thieves. The whistle blowing policy of the Federal Government appears to be paying off as the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Wednesday announced that it uncovered foreign currencies and Naira notes to the tune of $43.4 million, £27,800 and N23.2 million at a four-bedroom apartment in Ikoyi, Lagos. The total amount of money recovered at the current Central Bank exchange rate is over N13 billion. The operation followed a confidential information received by the Commission's Lagos office regarding some suspicious movement of bags in and out of a particular apartment in the building. Nigerian security forces say they have foiled a plot by ISIS-linked Boko Haram militants to bomb the British High Commission and US Embassy in the capital Abuja. The Department of State Services announced that it had arrested five suspects who were planning attacks. A DSS official said a suspected Boko Haram member who was arrested on March 22, in north-eastern Yobe state, confessed details of the plot.
