Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and former governor, James Onanefe Ibori are pictured in public together for the first time since Ibori’s return to Delta.

The politicians were seen exchanging pleasantries during a Grand Reception in honour of Okowa at the Otor-Agbon palace of the Ovie of Agbon Kingdom, HRM Mike Omeru Ogurimerime.
Ibori was jailed on April 17, 2012, for 13 years. That was the third time the former governor was sent to jail for theft.He is alleged to have stolen more than $250 million from the treasury of the oil-rich Delta State.

She was a 25-year-old dark-haired former beauty queen, her high school's first Latina drum majorette, the first in her family to graduate from college.
