JEALOUS LOVER SLITS BOYFRIEND'S THROAT IN AJEGUNLE LAGOS

Residents of Abukuru in Ajegunle area of Lagos State were Monday thrown into shock after a drink seller identified as Mary allegedly killed her lover,38 year old Pereowei Kingsley for dating another woman in the neighborhood.

According to reports,she commited the act while Kingsley was asleep and left him in the pool of his blood and went into hiding but the attention of residents was drawn to the scene after Kingsley screamed for help but later died before residents could help him.
Speaking on the incident,Kingsley’s elder sister, Linda Pereowei said she was asleep around 3am on Monday when one Kingsley’s neighbors came to inform her about the incident,“by the time I got there, my brother was dead.
“This is the 13th year that they have been dating each other. She cast a spell on my brother so that he would not be able to quit the relationship.
“No single child between them and they were not married.Sometime last year, she stabbed him in the head and eye which took months to heal,she has achieved her aim,we are from Bayelsa State.Our father is late but we still have an ageing mother and I want the police to ensure that she joins my brother in heaven,that is all I want,”she added.
Police operatives from the Ajeromi division who visited the scene were said to have trailed Mary to her hideout and arrested her.
Confirming the incident,the state Police Public Relations Officer,PPRO SP Dolapo Badmos said “the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department,SCIID Yaba,for further investigation and a postmortem would be carried out on the corpse of the victim,” she added.

The Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday, May 9, remanded a politician identified as Charles Eni-Umukoro over the murder of his wife, Louisa Eni-Umukoro, who was a director in the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Justice Mary-Anne Aninih ordered the remand of Eni-Umukoro in Kuje Prison, FCT pending the hearing of his bail application. The Inspector General of Police (IGP) in February charged Umukoro with culpable homicide, which is punishable with death under Section 221 of the Penal Code. The defendant however denied the allegation. Amilcar Henriquez shot dead in his Panama home . Police in Panama say national team soccer player Amilcar Henriquez has been shot dead while leaving his home. The press chief for Panama’s National Police says the killing happened Saturday in the country’s Colon province. Authorities say a gunman shot the 33-year-old midfielder several times. Another two people were wounded. The player died at a nearby hospital. President Juan Carlos Varela has condemned the killing on his Twitter account. A Nigerian cleric is demanding for justice on behalf of his son who was allegedly murdered by security operatives while in custody. A Nigerian pastor, Pastor Gabriel Atansuyi, has begged for justice after alleging that the Nigeria Police are trying to cover up the death of his gospel artist son, Ifedolapo. According to Punch, Atansuyi had in a statement on March 8, 2017, accused the police of killing his son while in custody, and attempting to pass it off as suicide.
