ENOUGH IS ENOUGH;GOV FAYOSE LENDS VOICE AND SUPPORT TO 2FACE'S UPCOMING PROTEST MARCH

Ayodele Fayose,the executive governor of Ekiti state and most outspoken opposition member  Monday said he will be partaking in the upcoming nationwide protest led by 2baba Innocent Idibia.
In a post on his Twitter handle Mr. Fayose said the organisers have his full backing to launch the protest,“to the organisers of Feb. 5 “Enough is Enough” National Protest, you have my total support and I will be part of the protest,” the governor said.
Mr. Fayose is the latest public figure to queue behind the organisers of the demonstration, which is expected to hold simultaneously in different cities across the country.
Mr. Idibia, while announcing the protest last week, said the Buhari administration’s lack of direction has left too many Nigerians in abject poverty with nothing to be hopeful for about the future.
The police have also said they have been duly informed about the protest and will provide security for all participants,although the government called for patience and understanding amongst Nigerians.

72-year-old Clarence White who got fed up of his wife complaining about his inability to satisfy her sexually or financially ended up pulling the trigger on her. The man is said to have grabbed a 22-caliber handgun and shot his much-younger wife in the face at their Bronx home on Thursday morning. Sources told the New York Daily News that the shooting followed an argument between White and his 28-year-old wife over her growing dissatisfaction with his inability to satisfy her financially or sexually. A disgruntled husband killed his wife during their cruise-ship vacation because "she would not stop laughing at me," according to newly filed court papers. Kenneth Manzanares attacked his wife, Kristy, inside their cabin aboard the Emerald Princess cruise ship Tuesday night, according to an affidavit filed Wednesday in Alaska federal court. A witness told authorities that when he entered blood-splattered Cabin D726 — where the Manzanareses were staying — Kristy, 39, was lying on the floor in a pool of blood. NIGERIAN ARMY AND POLICE CLASH BLOODY,4 DIE

A bloody clash between the army and police in Nigeria's restive northeastern Yobe state on Wednesday left one soldier and three police dead, a security source told AFP.  The police confirmed the fracas in the state capital of Damaturu, but did not say if there were casualties.  "The Nigeria police force is abreast of the unfortunate incident that occurred in the early hours of today 12th April, 2017 in Damaturu between the personnel of the force and that of the Nigerian army," police spokesman Jimoh Moshood said in a statement.  He said an investigation had been launched to determine "the causes of the incident and deal with the situation appropriately to prevent such occurrence in the future".  The army authorities were not immediately available for comment.
