A woman is due to appear in court charged with killing her boyfriend with a chainsaw in a flat in Munich,
The woman, aged 32, is alleged to have attacked the man while he was tied to a bed in 2008, hacking him to death before using the weapon to remove his head.
His death only emerged this year when an acquaintance of the suspect heard of the alleged incident and notified police, reports The West.
It is claimed the body had been kept in the attic of the apartment building until 2009 when it was discovered by a new boyfriend who was looking after the suspect’s cat.
The pair then buried the body together with the help of another accomplice, the charges claim.
