Senator Ben Murray Bruce, representing Bayelsa East senatorial district has applauded acting President Yemi Osinbajo over the sharp rise in the value of the naira.
Recall that Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo during the National Executive Council meeting held weeks ago ordered the Central Bank governor, Godwin Emefiele to find lasting solution to the troubled currency which hit worst in 2016.
The naira traded to 520 to a dollar on Monday before the CBN adjusted the foreign exchange policy.In a tweet on Saturday, Bruce said whatever the acting President was doing is working.
He urged Osinbajo to teach ‘his boss’ the magic he has.

Two Seattle police officers were shot Thursday while responding to a robbery at a 7-Eleven, according to the city's police department. The two officers, one male and one female, were brought to the Harborview Medical Center. The hospital tweeted that the male officer was upgraded to serious but stable condition, and that the female officer remained in satisfactory condition. One officer suffered a shot to the chest, but was wearing a vest sustained minor injuries. Tragedy as Mechanic in Lagos Kills Sales Boy in Broad Daylight 10/02/2017 The police in Lagos State have launched a manhunt for a mechanic, Fatai Bashiru, for allegedly killing a sales boy, Shedrach Emenike, aka Chiboy, in the Papa Ajao, Mushin area of the state. Punch Metro learnt that Bashiru stabbed the 23-year-old in the armpit and other parts of his body for allegedly scratching a car belonging to his customer. The victim was rushed to a general hospital where he was confirmed dead. It was learnt that the suspect fled after learning of Emenike’s death and his whereabouts had yet to be known. Disturbing CCTV footage allegedly shows a homeless man following a mother before she was raped and murdered. Pardeep Kaur 30,was walking to the hotel where she worked as a housekeeper at around 6.30am on October 17 last year, a court heard. A week later, her body was found hidden in a bush near the scene. Her jeans and underwear had been thrown into a puddle nearby.Her husband reported her missing when she didn’t return home after work that evening. Vadims Ruskuls, 25, has been accused of killing Mrs Kaur, but he denies all charges against him.
