Senator Ben Murray Bruce, representing Bayelsa East senatorial district has applauded acting President Yemi Osinbajo over the sharp rise in the value of the naira.
Recall that Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo during the National Executive Council meeting held weeks ago ordered the Central Bank governor, Godwin Emefiele to find lasting solution to the troubled currency which hit worst in 2016.
The naira traded to 520 to a dollar on Monday before the CBN adjusted the foreign exchange policy.In a tweet on Saturday, Bruce said whatever the acting President was doing is working.
He urged Osinbajo to teach ‘his boss’ the magic he has.

A young teenage couple accused of snatching their newborn baby from hospital have been briefly reunited with their daughter after five days apart. Jayden Lavender, 14, and fiancée Jenifer Morrison, 15, smuggled three-day-old Aria out of the hospital in Sydney at 12.30am on Thursday. Their disappearance sparked a huge search before the pair were found safe and well 16 hours later after spending a night camping with the infant. SAPULPA, Okla. - Police say an elementary school teacher was arrested on multiple charges after accidentally leaving her Facebook page open on a school computer. Officers were called to Holmes Park Elementary School on Monday after a teacher found Megan Sloan's Facebook page open on a computer, according to KOKI-TV. Authorities say the page featured a conversation where Sloan reportedly asked about using and selling heroin. Detectives told KOKI that during the investigation, Sloan allegedly admitted to pawning two iPads that belonged to the school district. She also reportedly admitted to using money from field trips for gas and drugs. When officers searched Sloan's purse, they allegedly found syringes and substances that tested positive for meth and heroin. This is really shocking. A teenage girl from Imo State identified as Chidinma Iheoma was caught by security operatives with human head. According to the security men, the head which was detached from the deceased body – was found with the girl who carried it in a bag before she was apprehended. When quizzed by security operatives in a video footage posted online, she initially claimed she was on her way to bury the head but later disclosed that her friend was the person who cut the head and that she has killed two people so far.
