GHANA-MAN KILLS SON FOR RITUALS

A 31-year-old farmer, Abdul Salam, has been arrested by the Asankragwa police for purportedly killing his six-year-old son for alleged ritual purposes.

 The incident reportedly occurred at Adidaase, near Amanso Amenfi in the Wassa Amenfi District of the Western Region yesterday.

 According to eyewitness reports, the man allegedly cut off his son’s head and legs to be sent to a spiritualist to help him (father) get more money.

 Some of the residents explained that the mother reported to the elders of the farming community that her six-year-old boy had got missing.

 The unit committee members in the area subsequently formed a search party to look for the little boy.

 When the father, Abdul Salam, was confronted, he allegedly admitted killing his own son and removing some parts of the body for rituals.

 “Upon interrogation, Abdul Salam confessed that he murdered the little boy to sell the head and the legs for ritual purposes,” one resident alleged.

 DAILY GUIDE has gathered that Abdul Salam is currently in the custody of the Asankragwaa police pending further investigations.

The Israeli military said the new base is located inside an existing Israel Air Force base in the southern region. The American military base houses dozens of U.S. soldiers operating radar device alongside Israeli soldiers as U.S. radar has been operational on site for a decade, using American civilians to operate it.

WHISTLE BLOWER ASSISTS NAFDAC UNCOVER N200 MILLION FAKE PRODUCTS

The National Agency for Food and Drugs Administration and Control, NAFDAC, has uncovered fake and unregistered products valued at over N200 million. The products, confiscated through a whistle-blower’s report, were stocked in a building at 11, Omotosho Crescent, off Ewedana Street, Toll Gate, Ota in Ogun State.  The building also served as production outlet for bitters with fake NAFDAC registration numbers. At a briefing in Lagos yesterday, Acting Director-General of NAFDAC, Mrs. Yetunde Oni, explained that the building is a bungalow of five bedrooms, with two residential rooms, while the other three, the parlour and the kitchen were used for production of unregistered, deceptive and counterfeit products. ​The Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has today revealed the location of the ark of Noah which every archeologist has been looking for over the years. According to the Ooni, the ark is in Ile-Ife and it is there because ‘everything started in Africa’.
