FBI,MARIETTA PD,AND SANDY SPRINGS PD CONTINUE EFFORTS TO IDENTIFY FEMALE BANK ROBBER.

ATLANTA—David J. LeValley, special agent in charge, FBI Atlanta Field Office, along with Marietta PD and Sandy Springs PD, continue to request the public's assistance in its efforts to identify and apprehend the individual responsible for two recent area bank robberies.

On Friday, June 16, 2017, at approximately 3:25 p.m., a lone black female entered the Wells Fargo Bank, located at 602 Roswell Street N.E., Marietta, Georgia, and, after approaching a teller, presented a demand note and announced a robbery. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the robber departed the bank without further incident.

On Monday, June 26, 2017, at approximately 4:26 p.m., a lone black female entered the PNC Bank, located at 5640 Roswell Road, Sandy Springs, Georgia, and, after approaching a teller, presented a demand note and announced a robbery. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the robber departed the bank without further incident.

The individual in both robberies is described as being a black female, 25 to 35 years of age, with a slender to medium build.

Communal clash claims lives in Taraba Several people lost their lives and several houses torched in a renewed violence that broke out, yesterday, in Taraba State. Plane crash. FILE At least four people were killed on Saturday when a propeller-engine cargo plane crashed in the sea near the International Airport in Abidjan, a Reuters witness said. Six others were believed to have been injured in the crash of the Antonov aircraft which police said had 10 people on board. MOTHER ARRESTED FOR BEATING TEENAGE SON TO DEATH

A housewife, Bisola Olukoya, has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command for allegedly killing her 16-year-old son. The Command's Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, who confirmed the incident to PREMIUM TIMES on Friday said the suspect committed the crime at Onifade-Itele town of the state. "One Mrs Bisola Olukoya of NO 40, Ifelodun Street Onifade Itele has been arrested by the Ogun State Command for beating her 16 years old son Toheeb Olukoya to death," the police spokesperson said. Mr. Oyeyemi said the incident happened on March 17. He said the suspect, while beating the deceased, used a plank to hit him on the head, after which the boy fell down and died.
