MAN CRUSHED TO DEATH AFTER IGNORING THE UNDERPASS TO CROSS RAIL LINE

A 31-Year-old Nigerian man, Benson Uchenna Nwughala, was crushed to death by a fast-moving train at a train station in San Romano, Montopoli, around 17.30 pm on September, 4, 2017.

According to Italian newspaper, Gonews, instead of using the underpass, Nwughala crossed the tracks with headphones in his ear and did not notice an oncoming train which was in transit at a very high speed because it wasn't meant to stop at the station.

Apparently, the people there tried to warn him, but the graduate of Banking and Finance from the University of Benin, Edo State, couldn't hear them.

Former President, Mr Goodluck Jonathan has confirmed the theft of his property from his house in Abuja. He confirmed the incident in a statement by his spokesperson, Ikechukwu Eze, following some media reports that the home was stripped bare and some of the items stolen were being sold in markets. "The house, which the former President bought from CITEC estate developers in 2004, was totally stripped bare by the thieves who stole every movable item in the house including furniture sets, beds, electronics, toilet and electrical fittings, as well as all internal doors and frames." The Police has arrested a suspected gang Leader in Ogun State for impersonation and the murder of a middle aged motorboy after an altercation in Abeokuta, the state capital. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has set up a team to investigate the immediate past Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal. This was disclosed to DAILY POST by a source within the commission.
