4 DIE IN COTE D'IVOIRE PLANE CRASH

At least four people were killed on Saturday when a propeller-engine cargo plane crashed in the sea near the International Airport in Abidjan, a Reuters witness said.

Six others were believed to have been injured in the crash of the Antonov aircraft which police said had 10 people on board.

Rescue workers removed two bodies from the plane, which had broken into several pieces and came to rest near the beach.

Two other bodies were visible in the wreckage

French military sources said that French nationals were among the injured.

"The aircraft failed to land and crashed in the water. Firefighters and security forces are on the scene." said police commissioner Charlemagne Bleu.

A Ghanaian woman who is married with three children has defended herself after her husband reported her to an Accra radio station for engaging in lesbianism. Barely one week after a policeman lost his service rifle to unknown gunmen, another policeman has been attacked and killed by unidentified hoodlums in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital. The unnamed policeman was reportedly killed in a beer parlour in the state capital. It was learnt that the hoodlums stole a police AK47 rifle after murdering the policeman at one of the relaxation spots on Hospital Road area.
