ASSEMBLIES OF GOD CHURCH PASTOR ALLEGEDLY STABS A NURSE TO DEATH

The Imo State Police Command, Umeneke Division has arrested an Assemblies of God pastor, Esom Jehovah, for allegedly stabbing a trainee nurse to death.
The victim identified as Callista, approached the pastor over a missing phone battery and charger she was given to charge.
An eye-witness told Sun that a boy in the compound gave the deceased a phone battery and charger to assist him recharge but Pastor Esom Jehovah’s first daughter stole the items which were later found in her custody five days after.
”The Pastor reacted angrily to the allegation against his daughter and beat up the deceased before his daughter went and picked a kitchen knife and stuck it deep into her back while her father held her down.”

It was gathered that the 21-year-old daughter is currently on the run, while the Pastor who almost fled after stabbing the deceased with the knife was arrested by the police.
The corpse has been deposited at the Holy Rosary Hospital morgue in the state.

2 FULANI HERDSMEN ARRESTED FOR ALLEGEDLY RAPING 14 YEAR OLD TEEN

Two Fulani herdsmen, Umar and Musa Ali, who are brothers, have been arrested by men of the Nasarawa State Police Command for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl at Tudun Lambaga in the Eggon Hills area, Eggon Local Government Area of the state. The victim, simply identified as Esther, was reportedly ambushed and assaulted by the suspects at a secluded part of the road. According to the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Nassarawa, DSP Kennedy Idirisu, Umar and Musa had been apprehended following a complaint by Esther’s parents. Narrating her ordeal in an interview with journalists in Lafia, Esther stated that she was with four others when the incident happened. French police officer fatally shot three people on a street near Paris before killing himself, according to reports. The incident was part of an apparent domestic dispute in which the officer's girlfriend, her mother and sister were injured, the BBC reported. Her father and two passers-by were killed in the shooting which happened in the town of Sarcelles late on Saturday. The mayor of Sarcelles, north of Paris, said the woman had recently told her partner that she was breaking up with him, according to the BBC. The officer first killed two people with his service weapon on the street, Le Monde newspaper said. An attempt by a mother of two children to smuggle a phone to her boyfriend in prison custody has been foiled by the officials of the Nigerian Prisons Service (NPS) in Abeokuta, Ogun State. The 33-year-old woman, Fatima Balogun who has been arrested by men of the Special Intelligence Unit of the NPS, carried out the action on Wednesday at the gate lodge of Abeokuta maximum Prisons in Ibara. The suspect confessed that she hid the phone which she bought for her boyfriend identified as Ganiyu Ajibode, in the cooler of soup from the Prisons officials.
