ASSEMBLIES OF GOD CHURCH PASTOR ALLEGEDLY STABS A NURSE TO DEATH

The Imo State Police Command, Umeneke Division has arrested an Assemblies of God pastor, Esom Jehovah, for allegedly stabbing a trainee nurse to death.
The victim identified as Callista, approached the pastor over a missing phone battery and charger she was given to charge.
An eye-witness told Sun that a boy in the compound gave the deceased a phone battery and charger to assist him recharge but Pastor Esom Jehovah’s first daughter stole the items which were later found in her custody five days after.
”The Pastor reacted angrily to the allegation against his daughter and beat up the deceased before his daughter went and picked a kitchen knife and stuck it deep into her back while her father held her down.”

It was gathered that the 21-year-old daughter is currently on the run, while the Pastor who almost fled after stabbing the deceased with the knife was arrested by the police.
The corpse has been deposited at the Holy Rosary Hospital morgue in the state.

MAN IN CUSTODY FOR ASSAULT ON PREGNANT WOMAN February 22, 2017; An Osun Magistrate Court sitting in Ile-Ife has docked one Dayo Adebayo, 29, for alleged assault on a pregnant woman.   The prosecutor, Sunday Osanyintuyi, told the court that the accused committed the offence on February 13, around 11:45 pm at Ehindi Street, Ile-Ife.Osanyintuyi, said Adebayo assaulted the woman named Blessing Monday, by hitting her with his fist across her face, causing various injuries.He added that the offence was contrary to and punishable under section 356 of the Criminal Code (Cap 34 Vol 11), Laws of Osun, 2002. According to multiple online reports, the incident happened in the early hours of Tuesday, May 30, 2017 when some camp soldiers on parade walked in on the duo in the middle of a heated sexcapade. The man blamed the devil for pushing him into the act while the woman who is reportedly married blamed the cold weather of the state for pushing her into the act.           A 53-year-old Nigerian man who works at the United Nations was arrested in connection with a string of bank robberies in Manhattan, over the past month and a half, law enforcement sources tell News 4 New York. The NYPD’s Major Case Squad arrested Abdullahi Shuaibu, of Queens, on Monday, April 17th, at his office at the Foreign Press Centers across from the United Nations building. Police believe he robbed banks while on work breaks.          Law enforcement sources say Shuaibu robbed a HSBC bank at 40th Street and Third Avenue on Monday and then returned to work shortly before he was arrested.They say he’s wanted in at least three other bank robberies.          Shuaibu is listed as a communication specialist at the U.N.
