DADDY FREEZE JOINS OTHERS TO CONDEMN FUNKE ADEJUMO OVER HER "HOUSEWIVES" SERMON

Cool FM presenter Daddy Freeze has condemned motivational speaker Funke Adejumo over her last viral sermon, where she said any woman who is housewife is a colossal failure.

Freeze opted to represent a married woman by demanding an apology from Adejumo to all  women for her statement.

He wrote:

The truth is the woman made a huge mess of a what could have been a great sermon, with her arrogance and condescending tone.
You shouldn't set standards that could lead women into depression.
I'm currently counseling a lady who was pushed into marriage at 19 by her family, simply because she was an orphan. What achievement could she possibly boast of at 19? How will this sermon make her feel?
The lady is already depressed, what if the sermon makes her suicidal?
Her choice of the financial example of N1 million, whether figurative or not, is appalling. There are many wonderful wives who are 'assets' to their husbands but still can't lend them N1m.
And saying a housewife is a colossal disgrace, is in itself disgraceful. SHE OWES ALL WOMEN AN APOLOGY FOR THIS RIDICULOUS SERMON.
My mother was a house wife for 5 years when we were kids, did that make her a colossal disgrace? NO! Did it stop her from getting to where she is today? NO! She is currently a professor of Law, provost of a college of Law and Deputy vice chancellor of a university, president, law lecturers association of Nigeria.
All these motivational speakers sef, in my opinion she has to go back to the drawing board!

Man allegedly chops off pregnant woman’s hand A man, who was engaged in a fight with his neighbour in Isaba-Ekiti, allegedly chopped off the left wrist of a pregnant woman, Aisha Adam, with a cutlass. A herdsman carrying a gun Herdsmen armed with guns killed 20 farmers and injured eight other people in a mosque in Niger state over the weekend, police said on Monday. Fighting over land use between semi-nomadic cattle herders and more settled communities, claims hundreds of lives yearly in the middle belt and in northern Nigeria. Last year, the government said preventing attacks was a security priority. Bala Elkana, a spokesman for Niger state police, said the attack happened at about 05:00 a.m. (0400 GMT) on Saturday at Epogi community, in the Mokwa area of the state. “It was a clash between farmers and herders which had been initially handled but some herders felt unsatisfied and … they launched a reprisal attack on some villagers praying in a mosque,” Elkana said. Three people had been arrested, he said. Nigeria’s poor transport and communications infrastructure can slow the speed at which reports of events in some rural communities are passed on.

In a bid to improve working conditions in the city’s sex industry, a brothel run by prostitutes themselves will be opened today by the mayor of Amsterdam. An initiative of the city council, the new brothel occupies 14 “windows” across four buildings on the so-called Wallen, Amsterdam’s red light district. About 40 sex workers will be able to operate out of the premises, which are being run by a foundation called My Red Light, in which prostitutes take an active part. “Everything in this project, from the statutes to the decoration of the rooms, is thought out by sex workers,” said one of the prostitutes involved, who asked to remain anonymous. “It is my hope that My Red Light will offer pleasant workspaces, where sex workers can be who they are and feel welcome.” Prostitution has been legal in the Netherlands since 2000.
