HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION UNDERWAY AFTER PERSON FOUND DEAD OFF I-25 NEAR GREENLAND EXIT

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. — Detectives said the death of a person found on the shoulder of I-25 near the Greenland exit turned into a homicide investigation Saturday.
A spokesperson with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said dispatchers received an emergency call at 10:13 a.m. about a body on the shoulder of the highway.
The death was not related to a vehicle crash.
The right lane of southbound I-25 was closed two miles south of the Greenland exit for several hours. It reopened just before 5 p.m.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said the on-site investigation was ongoing.

72-year-old Clarence White who got fed up of his wife complaining about his inability to satisfy her sexually or financially ended up pulling the trigger on her. The man is said to have grabbed a 22-caliber handgun and shot his much-younger wife in the face at their Bronx home on Thursday morning. Sources told the New York Daily News that the shooting followed an argument between White and his 28-year-old wife over her growing dissatisfaction with his inability to satisfy her financially or sexually. A bloody clash between the army and police in Nigeria's restive northeastern Yobe state on Wednesday left one soldier and three police dead, a security source told AFP.  The police confirmed the fracas in the state capital of Damaturu, but did not say if there were casualties.  "The Nigeria police force is abreast of the unfortunate incident that occurred in the early hours of today 12th April, 2017 in Damaturu between the personnel of the force and that of the Nigerian army," police spokesman Jimoh Moshood said in a statement.  He said an investigation had been launched to determine "the causes of the incident and deal with the situation appropriately to prevent such occurrence in the future".  The army authorities were not immediately available for comment.
