Sheriff Asks Court to Jail Makarfi, Fani Kayode, Obi, Others Over Contempt  27th Feb 2017, The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, has asked the Court of Appeal, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, to jail his arch rival, Senator Ahmed Makarfi, and some of his loyalists. Apart from the former governor of Kaduna State,Sheriff who is also a former governor of Borno State,also listed three other prominent leaders of the party as those to be jailed by the appellate court. A Ghanaian woman who is married with three children has defended herself after her husband reported her to an Accra radio station for engaging in lesbianism. The husband, Uncle Bob, had told Asempa FM's Maame Akua that his wife was cheating on him with a woman. But his wife, in an interview with the radio station, stated that her husband pushed her into lesbianism. Barely one week after a policeman lost his service rifle to unknown gunmen, another policeman has been attacked and killed by unidentified hoodlums in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital. The unnamed policeman was reportedly killed in a beer parlour in the state capital. It was learnt that the hoodlums stole a police AK47 rifle after murdering the policeman at one of the relaxation spots on Hospital Road area. The incident, which occurred on Sunday, reportedly created pandemonium in the area known for prostitution and forced many restaurants to temporarily shut down their business. A source, who did not want to be quoted, said the policeman went to the beer parlour with his riffle for relaxation. The wife of the President, Mrs. Aisha Buhari, and the Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II, on Saturday, condemned the rape of a six-month-old baby, stressing that the culprit must be made to face the music.
