FAYOSE OPENS UP ON HIS DREAMS OF BECOMING PRESIDENT

fayose winsGovernor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state said he will one day become the president of Nigeria. The governor who is also chairman of the PDP Governors Forum said this in Ado Ekiti while speaking with some journalists. Fayose said this at an Annual Media Get-Together, held at the Government House, Ado Ekiti. Fayose who did not specify how and when he will become the president said that the revelation was showed to him by God.
According to him, just as he become Ekiti state governor twice against all odds, so will the prophecy manifest the same way and manner. Fayose who said he will use his position as chairman of PDP governors forum to correct many ills of the society as well as fight the cause of the poor masses noted that he was in the good book of most Nigerians who would always be ready to make God’s plans for him come to pass at the appointed time.

The federal government has approved the closure of five foreign missions and embassies, minister of foreign affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama said. Onyeama told newsmen in Abuja on Thursday, May 25, 2017. Gunmen suspected to be militants on Thursday morning invaded Lagos State Model College, Igbo Nla, Epe, Lagos, abducting the principals and some students. The kidnappers were said to have stormed the school in the early hours when the students were at the morning assembly. The gunmen abducted the principal of the junior secondary school, Mr. Oyesola and Mr. Akirinmade who is the Principal of the senior secondary school. They also abducted some of the students. Presenting the case to the House of Representatives, the member representing Epe Constituency, Wale Raji, appealed to the House to call on the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris and the Commissioner of Police in Lagos State to treat the case with utmost urgency. The State Security Service (SSS), on Saturday, announced the arrest of Husseini Maitangaran, a top commander of by Islamic State of West Africa (ISWA), otherwise known as Boko Haram. He was arrested in Kano on 31 August.  Maitangaran, according to a statement issued by the service, spearheaded several deadly attacks in Kano in 2012. German national dies after slumping at Lagos airport A German national, Mr Brenard Christo, who slumped  on Friday  at the General Aviation Terminal of the Murtala Mohammed Airport, Lagos, has died at an undisclosed hospital. The spokesman for the Lagos Airport Police Command, DSP Joseph Alabi, confirmed the death of the German to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN)  on Saturday . Alabi said the deceased was waiting to board a local Arik Air flight  on Friday  morning when he suddenly collapsed. He said medical personnel attached to the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) rushed to the scene to assist the German citizen and was eventually taken to a hospital where he later passed on.
