FAYOSE OPENS UP ON HIS DREAMS OF BECOMING PRESIDENT

fayose winsGovernor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state said he will one day become the president of Nigeria. The governor who is also chairman of the PDP Governors Forum said this in Ado Ekiti while speaking with some journalists. Fayose said this at an Annual Media Get-Together, held at the Government House, Ado Ekiti. Fayose who did not specify how and when he will become the president said that the revelation was showed to him by God.
According to him, just as he become Ekiti state governor twice against all odds, so will the prophecy manifest the same way and manner. Fayose who said he will use his position as chairman of PDP governors forum to correct many ills of the society as well as fight the cause of the poor masses noted that he was in the good book of most Nigerians who would always be ready to make God’s plans for him come to pass at the appointed time.

The Benue State government has denied the reports alleging that the consignments containing snakes intercepted by the Nigeria Customs in Calabar belongs to Governor Samuel Ortom. It described it as another desperate smear campaign by members of the opposition. AKINJIDE,OLUTI REMANDED FOR FRAUD

A Federal High Court sitting in Ibadan has ordered that a former Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Oloye Jumoke Akinjide and another chieftain of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo state, Chief Olanrewaju Otiti be remanded in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over the N650 million fraud allegedly collected to fund the 2015 election in the state. The court also ordered the anti-graft body to produce unfailingly the second defendant in the case, Senator Ayoade Adeseun who has failed to appear in court to face trial over the alleged fraud. T wenty six year-old Alice Awuor Omito from Rongo, Migori County, Kenya, has shocked many after confessing that preparing the dead for burial is the one thing that makes her happy. The employee of Rosewood Funeral Home in Rongo said that she dropped out of nursing school after fears that she would not secure employment after school. The mortician began working as a morgue attendant at Star Mortuary in Kisumu two years ago, aged 24 before transferring to Rosewood in Rongo and says that she can't imagine being away from the dead. "I enjoy spending a better part of my working days with the dead. I can't imagine staying away from them even for a single working day. A bloody clash between the army and police in Nigeria's restive northeastern Yobe state on Wednesday left one soldier and three police dead, a security source told AFP.  The police confirmed the fracas in the state capital of Damaturu, but did not say if there were casualties.  "The Nigeria police force is abreast of the unfortunate incident that occurred in the early hours of today 12th April, 2017 in Damaturu between the personnel of the force and that of the Nigerian army," police spokesman Jimoh Moshood said in a statement.  He said an investigation had been launched to determine "the causes of the incident and deal with the situation appropriately to prevent such occurrence in the future".  The army authorities were not immediately available for comment.
