A good Samaritan identified as IfeanyiCy Njoku has narrated how he rescued a man who was laying unconscious in the middle of a major highway (Mcc Uratta road) in Owerri, Imo state causing serious traffic gridlock this morning.

IfeanyiCy Njoku who shared this, he initially taught the man was dead but on coming closer, he noticed that the young man was breathing and was very much alive.After helping him to his feet with the aid of a pharmacist, the man who revealed he is a laborer said he hadn’t eaten and was very hungry that he didn’t even know when he collapsed.His rescuers arranged food and water for him to refresh himself with. A bloody clash between the army and police in Nigeria's restive northeastern Yobe state on Wednesday left one soldier and three police dead, a security source told AFP.  The police confirmed the fracas in the state capital of Damaturu, but did not say if there were casualties.  "The Nigeria police force is abreast of the unfortunate incident that occurred in the early hours of today 12th April, 2017 in Damaturu between the personnel of the force and that of the Nigerian army," police spokesman Jimoh Moshood said in a statement.  He said an investigation had been launched to determine "the causes of the incident and deal with the situation appropriately to prevent such occurrence in the future".  The army authorities were not immediately available for comment.           A 53-year-old Nigerian man who works at the United Nations was arrested in connection with a string of bank robberies in Manhattan, over the past month and a half, law enforcement sources tell News 4 New York. The NYPD’s Major Case Squad arrested Abdullahi Shuaibu, of Queens, on Monday, April 17th, at his office at the Foreign Press Centers across from the United Nations building. Police believe he robbed banks while on work breaks.          Law enforcement sources say Shuaibu robbed a HSBC bank at 40th Street and Third Avenue on Monday and then returned to work shortly before he was arrested.They say he’s wanted in at least three other bank robberies.          Shuaibu is listed as a communication specialist at the U.N.
