The youth group of PDP called the PDP Youth Frontier has demanded that Governor Nyesom Wike and Ayodele Fayose should visit Pres. Buhari in London. The group lamented that visiting the Pres. Buhari was not the exclusive right of the APC members only.

Recall that yesterday the Senate President and Chairman of the National Assembly, Senator Bukola Saraki led the leadership of both the Senate and House of Representatives on a visit to President Muhammadu Buhari in London. Also the National Leader of the APC Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and the former Ogun State governor Bisi Akande and Ibikunle Amosun last week visited Buhari in London .

THE UK GOVT GIVES NIGERIA ADVICE ON TERROR GROUP BOKO HARAM

The government of the United Kingdom has said it stands with Nigeria in the fight against Boko Haram insurgents. UK's Minister for the Armed Forces, Mark Lancaster, gave the assurance after touring different parts of the country, including Makurdi, Maiduguri, Kaduna and Abuja to get a first hand assessment of the support UK troops were providing for Nigerian soldiers. Lancaster said: "The UK stands united with Nigeria in the international fight against terror. FEMALE MORTICIAN THAT CAN'T STAY AWAY FROM THE DEAD

T wenty six year-old Alice Awuor Omito from Rongo, Migori County, Kenya, has shocked many after confessing that preparing the dead for burial is the one thing that makes her happy. The employee of Rosewood Funeral Home in Rongo said that she dropped out of nursing school after fears that she would not secure employment after school. The mortician began working as a morgue attendant at Star Mortuary in Kisumu two years ago, aged 24 before transferring to Rosewood in Rongo and says that she can't imagine being away from the dead. "I enjoy spending a better part of my working days with the dead. I can't imagine staying away from them even for a single working day. I have to go and look at the bodies stored in freezers daily," she said. "I discontinued my studies in nursing and pursued mortuary science because of available job opportunities in the latter field. The Nigerian government has reacted to the killing of a Nigerian identified as Rasak Alao in South Africa. Recall that the Nigerian man, an auto mechanic, was on Thursday killed in South Africa after he was attacked alongside other Nigerians in Polokwane, Limpopo Province in South Africa. Reports indicated that the men were attacked following suspicions that they were into drug trafficking. Rasak Alao whose car was burnt lost his life in the attack which was carried out on him and five other Nigerians. In reaction, the Federal government issued a statement condemning the act and repeated attack on Nigerian nationals living in the country. MOUTH TATTOOED TEENAGE DAD CRIES OUT OVER HIS INABILITY TO FIND A JOB

A teenage father with a tattoo covering half his face saying DEVAST8 has cried out over his struggle to get a job. 19 year old Mark Cropp , who was recently released from prison, put a plea out on Facebook saying his facial tattoo was stopping him securing employment. He also said his tattoo which is not gang affiliated- wasn 't planned and was not supposed to be quite as big. He got it a number of months ago while in prison serving a two year and three month sentence in the Otago Correction Facility for aggravated robbery, the NZ Herald reports. Cropp said he was going through a ' rough patch' with people trying to bully him at the time and believed people were more cautious around those with tattoos in prison. MAN IN CUSTODY FOR ASSAULT ON PREGNANT WOMAN February 22, 2017; An Osun Magistrate Court sitting in Ile-Ife has docked one Dayo Adebayo, 29, for alleged assault on a pregnant woman.   The prosecutor, Sunday Osanyintuyi, told the court that the accused committed the offence on February 13, around 11:45 pm at Ehindi Street, Ile-Ife.Osanyintuyi, said Adebayo assaulted the woman named Blessing Monday, by hitting her with his fist across her face, causing various injuries.He added that the offence was contrary to and punishable under section 356 of the Criminal Code (Cap 34 Vol 11), Laws of Osun, 2002. The accused, however, pleaded not guilty to the offence leveled against him.Defence counsel, Mrs Innocent Akhigbe, therefore pleaded for the bail of the accused in most Liberal terms, promising that her client would not jump bail and would provide reliable sureties.
