5 OUT OF THE 8 MEN WHO RAPED A LADY TO DEATH HAVE BEEN ARRESTED AFTER VIDEO EMERGES ONLINE

About 5 out of a reported 8 men have been arrested so far in connection with a woman who was gang raped near the taxi rank last weekend.According to Constable Katlegile,a docket of gang rape,which resulted in death of the victim was reported on the 11th of February at Durban Central.

”The video we have has so far helped us apprehend some of the culprits.We would also like to ask the public to give a hand so that we nab the remaining ones.People are so heartless these days,how can one forcefully have sex with someone in daylight like this?What crime did she commit?They tend to forget that these women are parents,somebody’s sister,aunt and so forth,this is not acceptable”,added Constable Katlegile.

Reports are that the woman in her late 30s left the taxi rank at 3pm and was followed by a group of 8 men who demanded her hand bag and cellphone,and proceeded to violate her at a secluded place when she declined with the demanded items.

It is not yet clear how the 6 minute video which is currently being used as visual evidence ended up in the hands of the Durban police.The victim,(names with-held) died after 3 days of battling for her life.The real cause of death will be published after post mortem results.
