7-Year-Old Girl Who Was Declared Missing Found Dead In A Bush In Osun

A seven-year-old girl, earlier declared missing, was on Tuesday found dead in a bush near a sawmill in Iree Town, located in the North-Eastern part of Osun.
The Police Public Relations Officer in Osun, Mrs Folashade Odoro, made this known on Wednesday in Osogbo.Odoro said that the body of the girl was discovered by Chief Oluode of Iree and later reported to the police.
She said that the police, after receiving the information, “quickly deployed a search party to the scene and the body was discovered with visible matchet cuts.’’
Odoro said that the police suspected a foul play in the circumstances surrounding the death of the girl.According to her, the case is being investigated as a possible murder case.
She said that the girl’s corpse had been evacuated and deposited at the Heartly Paradise Mortuary in Ikirun for autopsy.
The police spokesperson said that the state Commissioner of Police, Mr Olafimihan Adeoye, has ordered proper investigation into the case.(MAY HER SOUL REST WITH GOD)
