Man Shoots Wife For Refusing Him Sex

A newlywed pensioner shot his wife in the buttocks after she refused to consummate the marriage. Donald Royce,76,reportedly told police his 62-year-old wife refused to have sex with him after six months of marriage .

The couple are believed to have argued over the sleeping arrangements at their home in Lehigh Acres, Florida, Fox 4 reported.Lee County Sheriff’s Office said Royce admitted shooting his bride in the buttocks while she told Four in Your Corner the situation is a “nightmare”.

After getting hitched in August,after six years of knowing each other,Royce told officers they were yet to have sex.The pair share their home with a roommate,who told police she heard two gun shots.She said when she went to investigate,Royce pointed the gun at her but she convinced him to allow his wife to get medical help.According to an arrest report, Royce told deputies arriving at the scene: “I shot her and the gun is in my room,I hadn’t intended to shoot my wife but to scare her by shooting the mattress."Royce’s wife,who has not been named was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital with gunshot wounds to the buttocks and hip.She is now recovering from her ordeal at home and told Fox she never thought her husband was capable of doing such.
