NIGERIAN ARRESTED FOR DRUG TRAFFICKING IN THAILAND

John Brazil Ifeanyi,a Nigerian and former school teacher has been arrested by the Thai police.
Trouble brewed for John when the police acting on a tip off raided his house and found ice (drugs) worth 10 Million Baht(Street Value) on Tuesday,February 7th in Srinakarin Thailand.

Police discovered John's ice stashed in model boats and aeroplanes at his apartment in Parkland building,he said a man simply known as "Mike" offered him 100,000 baht on each delivery of the drugs and had delivered them 5 times since he stopped work at Chonburi language school 5 months back but the police believe he belongs to a large ring of Nigerian drug cartel in Sri Nakharin.
He has been charged with possession of a Class 1 drug with intent to sell and is been detained for prosecution.

EFCC UNCOVERS N13 BILLION CASH IN LOCAL AND FOREIGN CURRENCIES IN LAGOS APARTMENT

The whistle blowing policy of the Federal Government appears to be paying off as the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Wednesday announced that it uncovered foreign currencies and Naira notes to the tune of $43.4 million, £27,800 and N23.2 million at a four-bedroom apartment in Ikoyi, Lagos. The total amount of money recovered at the current Central Bank exchange rate is over N13 billion. The operation followed a confidential information received by the Commission's Lagos office regarding some suspicious movement of bags in and out of a particular apartment in the building. Another source who is conversant with the apartment indicated that a woman usually appeared on different occasions with 'Ghana Must Go' bags, the EFCC said. A suspected ritual killer, Adebayo Mudashiru, has confessed that he and his colleagues buy human parts, including skulls, eyes and teeth, for N12,000. The suspect was arrested alongside three others in the Abeokuta and Owode Egba areas of the state by men of the Ogun State Police Command. The state Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, paraded the suspects at the headquarters of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Magbon, Abeokuta over the weekend. Iliyasu said the four suspects specialized in killing for ritual purposes and belonged to two different ritual groups. He said one of the groups, comprising Mudashiru and Rasheed Abass, who resided in the Totoro area of Abeokuta, were arrested on 5 October by operatives of FSARS. Five Zimbabwean nationals have been arrested in connection with the robbery of a mall in Johannesburg’s wealthy suburb of Hyde Park, the South African Police Service has confirmed.
