As posted by a facebook user who was an eye witness :: Again… today @ Abia in Udi LGA, just 30 seconds away from running into the bus as it somersaulted severally…
Though something remarkable happened…this little baby (the one a woman is carrying) was in the car with the mum, (the woman lying lifeless (dead) there..) but did not sustain even a single scratch of injury….
Thank God for her life….and may them who lost their lives find rest in the Lord

Buratai to investigate the alleged killing of members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) by troops of the Nigerian Army. He said the army could not be a judge in its case. Gunmen suspected to be militants on Thursday morning invaded Lagos State Model College, Igbo Nla, Epe, Lagos, abducting the principals and some students. The kidnappers were said to have stormed the school in the early hours when the students were at the morning assembly. The gunmen abducted the principal of the junior secondary school, Mr. Oyesola and Mr. Akirinmade who is the Principal of the senior secondary school. They also abducted some of the students. Presenting the case to the House of Representatives, the member representing Epe Constituency, Wale Raji, appealed to the House to call on the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris and the Commissioner of Police in Lagos State to treat the case with utmost urgency. This was disclosed by his chief press secretary, Umar Kyari, in a chat with The Vanguard on Monday. The State Security Service (SSS), on Saturday, announced the arrest of Husseini Maitangaran, a top commander of by Islamic State of West Africa (ISWA), otherwise known as Boko Haram. He was arrested in Kano on 31 August.  Maitangaran, according to a statement issued by the service, spearheaded several deadly attacks in Kano in 2012.
