KIDNAP;SECRETARY ISHERI NORTH ESTATE KIDNAPPED,3 KILLED IN PROCESS

Gunmen kidnap Isheri north estate Estate Secretary in Lagos, kill 3 security guards in the process

Gunmen this afternoon Thursday 09 Feb abducted Secretary of Isheri North Estate,GRA,Lagos State,Mr Dayo Adekoya.
    Recall that nine landlords of an estate close to the area were late last year abducted alongside their trainer and recently in the area,eight staff and students of the Nigeria Turkish International School were kidnapped and released.
On the latest case,Adekoya was abducted at about 1am by gunmen who stormed the estate.

Channels reports that the assailants shot into the air before taking Adekoya and 3 estate security men were reportedly killed in the operation.

Lagos State Commissioner of Police,Fatai Owoseni, has confirmed the incident.

After weeks of intensive manhunt, the Lagos state police command has arrested one Ismaila Adeyemi, 49, the suspected mastermind and killer of Hector Jobateh (the 2007 winner of Gulder Ultimate search) who was traced and shot dead at his residence at New Oko-Oba in Agege, Lagos State. The suspect who was arrested at gas line Ominiyi in Ijoko area of Ogun state, confessed to the crime and other numerous crimes, while other members of his gang have been arrested. EFCC re-arraigns 3 directors for allegedly stealing over N100 million MARCH 9th, 2017 The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has re-arraigned three directors, Gregory Eriyanremu, Frank Ugen and Harriman Isa Oyofo before Justice Uloho of the Delta State High Court sitting in Warri for allegedly converting over N100million meant for payments of contractors who executed contract job for Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, to personal use at different times. A chef, Godwin Obot, 40, was arraigned in Lagos on Wednesday for allegedly defiling his neighbour’s eight-year-old daughter after luring the girl into his room with soft drink. The accused was brought before a Tinubu Chief Magistrates’ Court, charged with defilement of a minor.  Obot, however, pleaded not guilty and was granted bail in the sum of N500, 000 with two sureties in like sum. The Chief Magistrate, Mrs Kikelomo Ayeye, directed that Obot must provide two sureties, one of whom should be a community leader. Ayeye said the other surety should be a civil servant on grade level 16.  She said the accused should be remanded in prison if he failed to meet the bail conditions. The Prosecutor, Insp.
