KIDNAP;SECRETARY ISHERI NORTH ESTATE KIDNAPPED,3 KILLED IN PROCESS

Gunmen kidnap Isheri north estate Estate Secretary in Lagos, kill 3 security guards in the process

Gunmen this afternoon Thursday 09 Feb abducted Secretary of Isheri North Estate,GRA,Lagos State,Mr Dayo Adekoya.
    Recall that nine landlords of an estate close to the area were late last year abducted alongside their trainer and recently in the area,eight staff and students of the Nigeria Turkish International School were kidnapped and released.
On the latest case,Adekoya was abducted at about 1am by gunmen who stormed the estate.

Channels reports that the assailants shot into the air before taking Adekoya and 3 estate security men were reportedly killed in the operation.

Lagos State Commissioner of Police,Fatai Owoseni, has confirmed the incident.

A disgruntled husband killed his wife during their cruise-ship vacation because "she would not stop laughing at me," according to newly filed court papers. Kenneth Manzanares attacked his wife, Kristy, inside their cabin aboard the Emerald Princess cruise ship Tuesday night, according to an affidavit filed Wednesday in Alaska federal court. A witness told authorities that when he entered blood-splattered Cabin D726 — where the Manzanareses were staying — Kristy, 39, was lying on the floor in a pool of blood. A teenage father with a tattoo covering half his face saying DEVAST8 has cried out over his struggle to get a job. 19 year old Mark Cropp , who was recently released from prison, put a plea out on Facebook saying his facial tattoo was stopping him securing employment. He also said his tattoo which is not gang affiliated- wasn 't planned and was not supposed to be quite as big. NIGERIAN ARMY AND POLICE CLASH BLOODY,4 DIE

A bloody clash between the army and police in Nigeria's restive northeastern Yobe state on Wednesday left one soldier and three police dead, a security source told AFP.  The police confirmed the fracas in the state capital of Damaturu, but did not say if there were casualties.  "The Nigeria police force is abreast of the unfortunate incident that occurred in the early hours of today 12th April, 2017 in Damaturu between the personnel of the force and that of the Nigerian army," police spokesman Jimoh Moshood said in a statement.  He said an investigation had been launched to determine "the causes of the incident and deal with the situation appropriately to prevent such occurrence in the future".  The army authorities were not immediately available for comment.
