DEAD BODIES TRAPPED IN ACCIDENT VEHICLE AS MANY DIE IN JOS,PHOTO

There was a massive bloodbath in Jos, Plateau State following an ill-fated road accident that claimed lots of lives.

No fewer than 15 people have been confirmed dead, many others injured after a trailer failed its break along the Faringada round about (Goodluck Ebele Jonathan road).
An eye witness told JTownConnect Metro that the trailer was coming toward army engineer, lost control due to break failure and finally got hold at Faringada round-about causing more harm than good therefore leaving at least 15 persons dead and many injured.
It was also gathered that the driver who tried to get hold of the vehicle used several keke to slow itself but to no avail only to crash at the Round-About.

A young teenage couple accused of snatching their newborn baby from hospital have been briefly reunited with their daughter after five days apart. Jayden Lavender, 14, and fiancée Jenifer Morrison, 15, smuggled three-day-old Aria out of the hospital in Sydney at 12.30am on Thursday. Their disappearance sparked a huge search before the pair were found safe and well 16 hours later after spending a night camping with the infant. The teens were briefly reunited with their baby girl on Tuesday amid the family's fears they would never see her again. The Borno State Police Command said on Wednesday that as a result of "Operation Safe Corridor," the counter-terrorism effort of the Nigerian military, two high profile commanders of the Boko Haram militant group have surrendered, along with their families. In a statement to newsmen in Maiduguri by its public relations officer, DSP Victor Isuku, the command said that 13 civilians were also rescued from suspected kidnappers, with two of the hoodlums dying of injuries received in a gun battle with the police. Two AK-47 rifles were also recovered. Unknown Gunmen Kill University Student, Watchman In Jigawa. 17th Feb 2017, A 27-year-old university student, Muhammad Garzali, was killed by unidentified assailants at Kafinhausa town of Kafinhausa Local Government Area of Jigawa. Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mr Abdu Jinjiri, an ASP, said that Garzali was murdered alongside a 60-year-old watchman, Ali Dan-Katsina, at a motor park in the area.
