27 YEAR OLD WOMAN FIGHTING FOR HER LIFE AFTER BEEN STABBED IN THE STREETS OF LONDON

Woman, 27, fighting for her life after being stabbed on street in London

A young woman is fighting for her life after being stabbed repeatedly on an affluent road in north-east London.

Police and paramedics rushed to the scene in Stoke Newington, Hackney at at around 3.30am this morning, where they found the 27-year-old.

She had sustained multiple stab woulds and was taken to an east London hospital, where she is currently in a life-threatening condition.

The woman was found in Rectory Road, where properties sell for around £1.1m.

A Met Police spokesperson said: ‘Detectives from Hackney CID are investigating.‘No arrests have been made and enquiries continue.’

A sexual predator who followed a teenage girl then sexually assaulted her has been jailed. Umar Iqbal, 25, approached the 16-year-old in Rochdale at around 3.30pm on Thursday, March 5, this year. Manchester’s Minshull Street Crown Court heard how Iqbal first walked after her along Yorkshire Street in the town centre. He then attempted to talk to her, but she felt uneasy and walked away.
