We brought reports about a man who jumped into the canal under Festac Link Bridge in Lagos.
The young man has been identified as Bayode Ahmed Lawal, an Industrial and Applied Chemistry graduate of Unilorin, Kwara State.
According to Festaconline, the sad event started from Mobil filling station when Bayo laid down on the floor.
He was with some of his friends at this time and they beckoned on him to stand up while trying to find out what was wrong with him.
He stood up and started walking fast before he broke into a run towards the bridge. His friends tried to stop him, chasing him, before they could get hold of him, he had already jumped into the canal.
Some people claimed that he had psychological issues which might have been deduced from his last tweet.

TWO TEACHERS ARRESTED FOR RAPING THEIR SIX YEAR OLD STUDENT PARADED On the 8/3/2017, Sani Abubakar, 39, and Usman Hassan male, 33, were arrested for luring a 6 years old girl and having unlawful carnal knowledge with her at a primary school in Dutsen Tanshi area of Bauchi State. A former Nigerian soldier who specializes in kidnapping rich women for ransom has finally been arrested by security operatives. A suspected kidnapper, Saliu Tola, has confessed before security operatives that he specialised in abducting rich ladies for ransom. Tola, a former soldier, was arrested in Asaba, Delta State by the police for alleged involvement in a series of abductions. While confessing to the crime, he said: “My victims have always been females. I have never gone for my kind. I kidnap valuable girls, ladies and women and this has never failed us. I resigned as a soldier to concentrate on kidnapping.” The 53-year-old suspect was one of the more than 173 others arrested for armed robbery, kidnapping and cultism.
