PHOTONEWS: Archbishop of Canterbury visits Buhari in London

Photographs have emerged of the Archbishop of Canterbury’s visit to President Muhammadu Buhari in his London vacation spot.

The President who took to his official twitter handle @MBuhari wrote “Very pleased to welcome the Most Revd and Rt Hon @JustinWelby, Archbishop of Canterbury, to Abuja House this afternoon.”
Buhari is currently on a medical vacation in London, the United Kingdom.

Shortly after Buhari embarked on his medical vacation to London, rumours had it that he was dead.

The rumour was further fuelled by the fact that the President, on the day he was expected back, sent a letter to the National Assembly , informing them of his decision to extend his vacation to enable him complete and receive medical results.

Last month, the President through his media aide, Femi Adesina revealed that series of medical check-ups he carried out in the cause of his vacation had necessitated his prolonged stay in London.

The Edo Woman Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Aisosa Amadasun, and four others, have been brought before a Benin High Court, for allegedly committing contract fraud to the tune of N1.5bn, NAN reports. The other defendants in the case are: Adama Osabuohien, Prince Stephen Alao, Dove Momodu and Ali Sulayman. The Borno State Police Command said on Wednesday that as a result of "Operation Safe Corridor," the counter-terrorism effort of the Nigerian military, two high profile commanders of the Boko Haram militant group have surrendered, along with their families. Tuesday 14 Feb 2017 The wife and stepson of a Ku Klux Klan leader who was found fatally shot next to a river have been charged with murder. Malissa Ann Ancona, 44, and her 24-year-old son, Paul Edward Jinkerson Jr., were charged with first-degree murder, tampering with physical evidence and abandonment of a corpse following the death of white supremacist Frank Ancona. Both have been jailed without bond. Jinkerson shot his 51-year-old stepfather as he slept Thursday at his home in Leadwood, about 70 miles south of St. Louis, a probable cause statement alleges. After the shooting, Ancona’s body was taken in Jinkerson’s vehicle to an area near Belgrade, about 20 miles away, according to St. Francois County Sheriff’s Department detective Matt Wampler.
