PHOTONEWS: Archbishop of Canterbury visits Buhari in London

Photographs have emerged of the Archbishop of Canterbury’s visit to President Muhammadu Buhari in his London vacation spot.

The President who took to his official twitter handle @MBuhari wrote “Very pleased to welcome the Most Revd and Rt Hon @JustinWelby, Archbishop of Canterbury, to Abuja House this afternoon.”
Buhari is currently on a medical vacation in London, the United Kingdom.

Shortly after Buhari embarked on his medical vacation to London, rumours had it that he was dead.

The rumour was further fuelled by the fact that the President, on the day he was expected back, sent a letter to the National Assembly , informing them of his decision to extend his vacation to enable him complete and receive medical results.

Last month, the President through his media aide, Femi Adesina revealed that series of medical check-ups he carried out in the cause of his vacation had necessitated his prolonged stay in London.

Mortuary Workers disrupt burial,‘Arrest’ Dead Body Over N3000 Unpaid Balance Serious drama at a burial ceremony in a cemetery in Ghana,when a mortuary attendant with the Tema General Hospital stormed the burial ground and seized a dead body over an unsettled balance of GH¢40 (nearly N3,000). According to Ghana Guardian, it was gathered that the dead man’s relations were supposed to pay him for services he rendered but failed to pay for the full amount and smuggled out the corpse while he was busy preparing other bodies for burial. Communal clash claims lives in Taraba Several people lost their lives and several houses torched in a renewed violence that broke out, yesterday, in Taraba State. Locals stated that the Tuesday’s violence started around 2 a.m. when two villages, Bonja and Mayo-Kunga belonging to Fulani ethnic group, were allegedly attacked by suspected Mummuye youths,the attack on the Mayo-Kunga village led to reprisal attacks on neighbouring communities. Police Public Relations Officer for Taraba State,Mr David Misal said only six people were killed in the mayhem,according to him, “since the Friday attack between the Fulani herdsmen and Mummuye farmers in Lushi, there have been reprisal attacks.“For now, six persons were confirmed killed on both sides, while several others have been arrested.” Mr. Misal also confirmed that 80 houses were razed in the violence

Plane crash. FILE At least four people were killed on Saturday when a propeller-engine cargo plane crashed in the sea near the International Airport in Abidjan, a Reuters witness said. Six others were believed to have been injured in the crash of the Antonov aircraft which police said had 10 people on board. Rescue workers removed two bodies from the plane, which had broken into several pieces and came to rest near the beach. Two other bodies were visible in the wreckage French military sources said that French nationals were among the injured. "The aircraft failed to land and crashed in the water. Gunmen Kill Vice Principal During School Hour The Vice Principal of a school in Akwa Ibom State has been tragically killed by unknown persons who stormed his school to wreck havoc. Her baby was born a healthy 6lbs and the infant was named Gerardo in honour of the doctor who delivered him.
