 Popular Nigerian film-maker, Seun Egbegbe, who has already spent two months in Ikoyi prison for theft, is crying out about the strict nature of his N5m bail which he was granted since February 24.

 Lagos based movie producer,Seun Egbegbe who was arrested and detained in February 2017 for allegedly attempting to defraud a couple of Bureau de Change operators, is crying out about the conditions of his bail.

 According to Goldmyne TV, the filmmaker is complaining about the strict nature of his N5million bail which he was granted since February 24, 2017.

 Seun Egbegbe, who has spent two months in Ikoyi prison for theft, revealed that he is unable to find two sureties with the profile required by the court.

 The judge had reportedly ruled that the two sureties in the like sum of N2.5 million each must be: (i) a civil servant on level 16 who deposits his international passport, and (ii) a property owner in Lagos metropolis who deposits a certificate of occupancy.

 Both sureties are also to be mandatorily profiled with their office and home addresses verified.

 “Where do they expect him to get the sureties who would leave their passports and certificates of occupancy with the court until the case which may last four years ends?,” a close associate of Egbebe stated.

 “Who will risk losing N2.5 million as surety for a case that has not even really started?,” the source added.

 Recall that on Monday, the controversial filmmaker, was arraigned for a third time for alleged serial frauds following the amendment of charges against him by the Nigerian Police.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A Memphis preschool worker has been charged with aggravated child abuse after police say she dragged a 16-month-old boy by one leg and broke the other. Police said the toddler was injured September 20 at the M.E.M. Preschool and Summer Camp on Macon road while he was being watched by Omeika Williams. Investigators said Williams told the child’s parents the boy tripped over a rug and hurt his left leg, but video from the preschool showed her dragging the boy by his right leg causing his left to twist under his body. An Ile-Ife Magistrate Court has remanded one Isreal Ojimi, 38, said to be a prophet and Bose Adetimikan, 27, in prison custody over alleged rituals. The prosecutor, Inspector Emmanuel Abdullahi, told the court that the accused committed the offence on May 20, 2017, around 10:00 pm at Mosarajo area via Ile-Ife. According to him, they had armed themselves with some charms in the form of a garment with an intention to commit felony. He further explained that they conducted themselves in a manner that caused mayhem, adding that their behavior was against the norms and ethics of the nation and had contravened sections 213, 249 (d) and 516 of the State Penal Code. The Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday, May 9, remanded a politician identified as Charles Eni-Umukoro over the murder of his wife, Louisa Eni-Umukoro, who was a director in the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Justice Mary-Anne Aninih ordered the remand of Eni-Umukoro in Kuje Prison, FCT pending the hearing of his bail application. The Inspector General of Police (IGP) in February charged Umukoro with culpable homicide, which is punishable with death under Section 221 of the Penal Code. The defendant however denied the allegation. Amilcar Henriquez shot dead in his Panama home . Police in Panama say national team soccer player Amilcar Henriquez has been shot dead while leaving his home. The press chief for Panama’s National Police says the killing happened Saturday in the country’s Colon province. Authorities say a gunman shot the 33-year-old midfielder several times. Another two people were wounded. The player died at a nearby hospital. President Juan Carlos Varela has condemned the killing on his Twitter account. February 15 2017 A homicide investigation is underway Wednesday after two bodies, presumed to be missing 13-year-olds Liberty German and Abigail Williams, were found on Tuesday. The two school friends were last seen on Monday afternoon after they went for a hike along the Delphi Historic Trail in Carroll County, Indiana - just a few miles from home. Sgt.
