THE CULPRIT,SEGUN AND HIS MOTHER'S CORPSE
It has been revealed why a man who beheaded his own mother in Uzebba village in the Owan local council of Edo State on Friday.

We reported on Friday that a 36-year-old man identified as Segun Odihiri, beheaded his 83-year-old mother, Maria Odihiri, in Uzzeba, Owan West Local Government Area of Edo State.

DailyTrust have gathered that Segun killed his mother for alerting the public while he was trying to rape his own biological daughter.

Trouble started when his mother started screaming when she caught Segun in the act.While speaking with a correspondent, a witness, Ekemeiren Ojekhugbo, said: “For him to cover his shame, he picked up a cutlass and cut off his mother’s head while the daughter ran for safety.”


According to him, Segun earlier hid the body of the woman but was caught while attempting to dispose of it,adding that he was always threatened to kill her any time they had a misunderstanding.

He was later taken to the Owan West Divisional Police Command in Sabongidda Ora.

A 45-year-old suspected ritualist who was arrested by the Police in Lagos with a human skull, has disclosed that he sold fresh human skull for N1 million. The suspect, Lucien Tusume, was arrested at Iraye village in Sagamu area of Ogun State, following intelligence report. Explaining the circumstance that led to the arrest of the suspected ritualist, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Olarinde Famous-Cole, said some policemen, who disguised as buyers, contacted the suspect for a human skull. MAN IN CUSTODY FOR ASSAULT ON PREGNANT WOMAN February 22, 2017; An Osun Magistrate Court sitting in Ile-Ife has docked one Dayo Adebayo, 29, for alleged assault on a pregnant woman.   The prosecutor, Sunday Osanyintuyi, told the court that the accused committed the offence on February 13, around 11:45 pm at Ehindi Street, Ile-Ife.Osanyintuyi, said Adebayo assaulted the woman named Blessing Monday, by hitting her with his fist across her face, causing various injuries.He added that the offence was contrary to and punishable under section 356 of the Criminal Code (Cap 34 Vol 11), Laws of Osun, 2002.
