Despite death penalty,Nigerian caught trafficking to Indonesia,to raise money for his wedding 

A 33-year-old Nigerian travelling to Soekarno–Hatta International Airport Jakarta, Indonesia, with narcotics has been arrested at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos. 
After he tested positive for narcotic ingestion, 89 wraps of narcotics found to be methamphetamine weighing 1.205kg were recovered from him. Indonesia imposes capital punishment for drug trafficking. 
Umeme Lotachukwu Fabian, who was holding a Cote d’ lvoire International passport bearing the name Grou Bi Clauvis, was arrested while attempting to board a Qatar Airways flight to Indonesia. 
The suspect who hails from Anambra State, excreted 89 wraps of methamphetamine while under observation at the airport. He said he was offered the sum of $5,000 to smuggle the drugs to Indonesia. 
“I am the only son of my parents. I wanted to invest the money in my clothes business and also commence preparation for my marriage in a bid to settle down,” Mr. Umeme said. He also said he was not aware that drug trafficking attracts capital punishment in Indonesia.

A prophet of the Cherubim and Seraphim (C & S) Church in Lagos, Mr. Alimi Isaiah, 55, has been arraigned before the Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court, Ibadan for allegedly being in possession of human skull and a horn. Barely one week after a policeman lost his service rifle to unknown gunmen, another policeman has been attacked and killed by unidentified hoodlums in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital. The unnamed policeman was reportedly killed in a beer parlour in the state capital. LEEDS, Ala. A 12-year-old girl died Sunday after authorities believe she was accidentally shot by a family member during a gathering in Alabama, according to multiple reports. The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office on Monday identified the girl as Kayla Mendenhall, AL.com reported. Authorities told the news site that Kayla and an adult family member were wrestling when a gun worn by the adult discharged. Kayla was shot in the upper leg and died at a hospital.
