MURDER;BADOO GANG KILLS PREGNANT LADY,HER HUBBY AND KIDS

Remember sometime back,we reported a case of a family wiped out by the dreaded BADOO gang in ikorodu area of Lagos state,the notorious gang has again wiped out another family of five in Ikorodu, including a pregnant woman. The gang has been terrorising residents of Ikorodu and environs with many people killed.

It was gathered that on Sunday night, 28th of May, 2017, the dreaded group stormed the house of Mr. Olusanya Olukoya and wiped out the family of 5 in cold blood, the husband, three children and the pregnant wife whose womb was said to have been cut open and the foetus removed.

The ugly incident occurred at Itamaga behind Radio, from the report gathered so far. The dreaded group was able to gain entrance into the apartment through the only window that was not fortified with burglary.

Benue State Police Command has busted two kidnap syndicate of 8 including a Gang of 4 allegedly led by a woman believed to be an associate of the wanted militant leader, Terwase Agwaza, aka Gana, who a week ago abducted a businessman. The police operation also led to the arrest of three women whose responsibilities were to provide food for the victims, who was rescued alive. The businessman was kidnapped alongside his son, who was later released to source N20 million as ransom for his father.  The state's Police Commissioner, Bashir Makama, said: "During investigations, we discovered that the lady, who was arrested had the responsibility of pencilling down those to be kidnapped and those to be killed by the gang. They are all associates of Gana, the wanted militant leader. Also arrested, after reliable information, is one Victor Ayanngor, who conspired with Ordue Abraham, Kelvin Dankor and Emmanuel Terver to kidnap his girlfriend and collect N200,000 ransom."

A fire incident which happened on Saturday evening at Makoko and Satellite Town areas of Lagos State, has left a seven-day-old baby dead, and copies of West African Senior School Certificate Examination results badly burnt. It was gathered that the baby was burnt to death in Makoko, in the fire incident that occurred due to a resident's carelessness, after she left what she was cooking on a stove unattended to. Japanese workers famously put in long hours, leading, in extreme cases, to karoshi, or death from overwork. Japanese media outfit, NHK, has apologized to the parents of deceased Japanese reporter, Miwa Sado, who died of heart failure after reportedly working for 159 hours of overtime in a month. Sado, who had been covering political news in Tokyo was found dead in her bed in July 2013, reportedly clutching her mobile phone. "The chairman met the parents at their home in the morning and apologised," an NHK spokesman told AFP. A government inquest a year after her death ruled that it was linked to excessive overtime. The State Security Service (SSS), on Saturday, announced the arrest of Husseini Maitangaran, a top commander of by Islamic State of West Africa (ISWA), otherwise known as Boko Haram. He was arrested in Kano on 31 August.  Maitangaran, according to a statement issued by the service, spearheaded several deadly attacks in Kano in 2012. Appeal Court confirms Ali Modu Sheriff as PDP chairman 17th February 2017 The Court of Appeal has declared Ali Modu Sheriff as the national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Kogi herbalist to die by hanging for killing 2 brothers A herbal medicine practitioner and ritualist, Ibrahim Mohammed, has been sentenced to death by hanging for killing two brothers in Koton-Karfe area of Kogi State. He was accused of killing two brothers, Muhammed Kudu Abubakar and Umar Tanko. The herbalist was said to have administered poison on them before hitting them on the head with a pestle and then buried their corpses in a shallow grave in his compound. The accused person had earlier pleaded guilty to the charges.
