DON MOEN'S DEATH

There appears to be no iota of truth in the earlier death rumour of popular American gospel musician, Don Moen, as the singer, on Wednesday, in a simple twit on his twitter handle dispelled the speculation.

In the said tweet, the singer had uploaded a family photo of himself, his father, his own son and two of his grandchildren reportedly taken today.
Nigeria and the global community were thrown into shock when an American medium reported that the gospel singer cum evangelist died after a short battle with stomach pain.

The website had reported, "An American singer-songwriter, pastor, evangelist, Don Moen has died after a short battle with stomach pain.

"His family confirmed that he died early this morning at General Acute Care (GAC) Hospital in California shortly after being rushed to the hospital.
"The cause of his death is not immediately known as the body is deposited at the morgue for autopsy.
"President Donald also has expressed his tributes, saying Don Moen was "one of the best gospel artists that the country has ever produced."

With many across the globe taking to social media to commiserate with Moen's family, the singer in a simple tweet on his verified Twitter handle, @donmoen, debunked the rumours.
He tweeted a picture of himself and his family in Minnesota, taken on Wednesday (today).

Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, who deserted his unit in Afghanistan and was later captured by the Taliban in 2009, won't have to face prison time, a military judge ruled in his case on Friday. MAN FOUND GUILTY OF KILLING CHICAGO COP

CHICAGO –  A man has been found guilty in the 2010 death an off-duty Chicago police officer. It took a Cook County jury four hours Tuesday to find 25-year-old Bernard Williams guilty of first-degree murder in Officer David Blake's killing. The jury also found Williams guilty of armed robbery. Prosecutors said the then-18-year-old Williams lured Blake into an alley to kill the officer and raid a gun safe at his house. No physical evidence linked Williams to the killing of Blake, nor was the murder weapon recovered. However, several of Williams' friends testified he tried to recruit them to help in the murder and robbery, and then confessed after killing Blake.
