A young school boy has been found dead, hanging inside his school toilet, a development which has caused quite a stir in the area.

 Mohau Mamaregane, a 6-year-old South African boy allegedly committed suicide at school in Seshego outside Polokwane on Tuesday.

 According to Daily Sun SA, Mohau Mamaregane, a Grade 1 learner Dorothy Langa Primary School, was found hanging in the toilet.

 It is alleged that the deceased requested to go to the toilet and when he failed to return back to the class, another learner was sent to go and look for him.

 It was then that the gruesome discovery was made.

 Limpopo cops spokesman Colonel Moetshe Ngoepe said the deceased was transported to the local clinic where he was confirmed dead on arrival.

 Ngoepe said the South African Police Service in this province is condemning acts of child neglect and poor child safety measures especially at schools.

 He said the motive and circumstances behind this incident is unknown at this stage.

 “Members of the communities including educators are advised to put child safety first on the basis that their movements and whereabouts must be monitored at all times to prevent this type of incidents happening,” said Ngoepe.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A Memphis preschool worker has been charged with aggravated child abuse after police say she dragged a 16-month-old boy by one leg and broke the other. Police said the toddler was injured September 20 at the M.E.M. Preschool and Summer Camp on Macon road while he was being watched by Omeika Williams. Investigators said Williams told the child’s parents the boy tripped over a rug and hurt his left leg, but video from the preschool showed her dragging the boy by his right leg causing his left to twist under his body. An Ile-Ife Magistrate Court has remanded one Isreal Ojimi, 38, said to be a prophet and Bose Adetimikan, 27, in prison custody over alleged rituals. The prosecutor, Inspector Emmanuel Abdullahi, told the court that the accused committed the offence on May 20, 2017, around 10:00 pm at Mosarajo area via Ile-Ife. According to him, they had armed themselves with some charms in the form of a garment with an intention to commit felony. He further explained that they conducted themselves in a manner that caused mayhem, adding that their behavior was against the norms and ethics of the nation and had contravened sections 213, 249 (d) and 516 of the State Penal Code. Although defence counsel, Mr Alaba Awoseemo pleaded for their bail in most libral terms, the plea was not accepted. Magistrate Olalekan Ijiyode, however, asked the counsel to put the plea in writing and ordered that the accused persons be remanded in prison custody. Amilcar Henriquez shot dead in his Panama home . Police in Panama say national team soccer player Amilcar Henriquez has been shot dead while leaving his home. The press chief for Panama’s National Police says the killing happened Saturday in the country’s Colon province. Authorities say a gunman shot the 33-year-old midfielder several times. Another two people were wounded. The player died at a nearby hospital. President Juan Carlos Varela has condemned the killing on his Twitter account. February 15 2017 A homicide investigation is underway Wednesday after two bodies, presumed to be missing 13-year-olds Liberty German and Abigail Williams, were found on Tuesday. Hundreds of Palestinians held in Israeli jails are beginning a mass hunger strike in protest against their conditions. The action is being led by Marwan Barghouti, a Palestinian leader jailed by Israel for life for five murders.
