WOMAN IMPLICATED IN RAMAPHOSA"S SEX SCANDAL SEEKS INTERDICT(LISTEN TO AUDIO)

Some newspapers have labelled the sex scandal expose as a smear campaign against ANC deputy president, Cyril Ramaphosa.

A woman believed to be Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa's girlfriend has now launched her legal bid to prevent her name and visuals from being published in the media.

The young woman's application is set to be heard at the High Court in Johannesburg on Wednesday.

Last week her name, photographs and videos were published by an online blog owned by Kenny Kunene as part of what was claimed to be an exposé of Ramaphosa's alleged extra-marital affairs.

Kunene says he will oppose the application.

Police officer who fostered a 14-year-old girl after she was rescued from child sex abuse went on to abuse her himself, a court heard. Social workers placed the teenager in the care of the serving Metropolitan Police officer and his wife and moved her 300 miles to live with the couple. Police arrested the officer when the teenager was found hiding in a stairwell near his flat after she was removed from his care. Indecent pictures of them were found on her mobile phone.
