Shiri Sobol was convicted of soliciting the murder of her twin sister Hili Sobol in February. The murderer, Shiri's boyfriend David Eran, was sentenced to 20 years in prison by the Tel Aviv District Court. Eran was also ordered to pay 258,000 shekels ($73,200) in compensation to the mother of the two women. The sentences were part of a plea bargain agreement reached with Eran and Sobol.
