The Imo State Police Command has paraded five suspects in connection with the murder of Reverend Father Cyriacus Onunkwo.

This comes four days after the Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr Chris Ezike, confirmed the kidnap and subsequent killing of the priest. 

Onunkwo was murdered after he was reportedly snatched from his vehicle by gunmen on Friday last week in Orlu Local Government Area of the state.

On September 3, Ezike said the remains of the clergyman was discovered in a bush the following day following a manhunt.

EGYPT BLOCKS 21 WEBSITES FROM FUNCTIONING WITHIN IT'S BORDERS

Egypt on Thursday blocked 21 websites, including Qatari news network Al Jazeera and Islamist-affiliated platforms, following in the footsteps of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Among those blocked since Wednesday evening is the website of the now-banned Muslim Brotherhood, Ikhwan Online, according to a report in the privately owned Al-Masry Al-Youm newspaper. All websites blocked contain material that “support terrorism and extremism as well as publish lies,” a security source was quoted as saying. The Arabic edition of the Huffington Post was blocked, although the English-language version was accessible. The independent Cairo-based Mada Masr was another site blocked. SAPULPA, Okla. - Police say an elementary school teacher was arrested on multiple charges after accidentally leaving her Facebook page open on a school computer. Officers were called to Holmes Park Elementary School on Monday after a teacher found Megan Sloan's Facebook page open on a computer, according to KOKI-TV. Authorities say the page featured a conversation where Sloan reportedly asked about using and selling heroin. Detectives told KOKI that during the investigation, Sloan allegedly admitted to pawning two iPads that belonged to the school district. She also reportedly admitted to using money from field trips for gas and drugs. The former governor of Osun state and the Osun West senator, Isiaka Adeleke, is reported to have died of an overdose of painkillers. The drugs were administered to him by an unqualified medical technician.
