4 YEAR OLD BRUTALLY RAPED AND MURDERED IN SOUTH AFRICA LAID TO REST

It was a grieving moment for  Talla family as they laid their four-year-old Shaynice to rest Wednesday, at the Klipspuit Cemetery. 

The little child who went missing on Wednesday afternoon, September 28, was found brutally raped and murdered hours later. A grieving family member, Sonja Bosch at the funeral said, “God picked a beautiful rose from His garden, but she will always remain with us. It’s so sad but we know that you’re safe in God’s hands. We’re so broken, it hurts knowing that someone can hurt such an innocent young girl.”

Head Johannesburg MMC for Health and Social Development Dr Mpho Phalatse said, “when an innocent life of a little girl is taken in this manner we need to ask ourselves what is wrong with our community. There is a sickness in our community and we have accommodated it for far too long. Its time for all of us to regroup and take a stand against social ills. It can’t be business as usual. Things need to change in Eldorado Park‚” she added.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission said it had so far, through painstaking investigations by its operatives, traced N47.2bn and $487.5m in cash and properties to a former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke. These, the anti-graft agency said, were apart from "boxes of gold, silver and diamond jewellery, worth several million British pounds sterling," discovered during a search of Diezani's palatial residences in Abuja. The EFCC said it discovered several of Diezani's landed properties scattered all over Lagos and other parts of the country in the course of its investigations, adding that it was doubtful if the former minister declared her true assets as required of public officials. SUSPECTED KILLER OF IKORODU FAMILY ARRESTED WITHIN SAME COMMUNITY

Policemen from the Ipakodo division have arrested a suspected killer of a family of three in Ibeshe Titun, in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State. It was learnt that the suspect, whose identity had yet to be ascertained, was arrested on Tuesday in the community. A resident, who asked not to be identified, said the suspect had been taken into custody and was being interrogated by the police. He said, “The man was arrested this morning (Tuesday) and he confessed to being a member of the gang that attacked and killed members of the family. He was beaten to a pulp by an angry mob as he also mentioned the names of their sponsors. Saudi police shoot dead IS suspect MARCH 8TH 2017,          Police in Saudi Arabia said Wednesday they shot dead a member of the Islamic State group in the capital, the latest suspected jihadist to be killed by security forces. According to several media reports, Miss Olivia Uchechi Ihionu lost her life at Adoration Ministry Uke on 15 August 2017. The deceased was the first daughter of her parents. She got engaged last Christmas and wass preparing to be married this Christmas. According to an eyewitness, she went to urinate in a nearby gutter after arriving the prayer ground and suddenly went missing. Due to heavy rainfall that day, she apparently drowned. It was later discovered that she fell into gutter, her lifeless body was found in the neighbouring village the following day.
