TOO BAD! Lautech Graduate Arrested For Stealing 20 Cement Bags (See Photo)

The Operatives of Rapid Response Squad, RRS, of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested a 35-year-old man, Abiola Hamzat, for allegedly stealing 20 bags of cement from a brick-making company in the Agbado.
The suspect, a graduate of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, was arrested alongside his accomplice, Adebayo Kazeem, 32, after stealing the items from their work place.
Hamzat, a father of three, allegedly stole the bags of cement from the company a day after he was promoted to the post of a supervisor with a financial reward of N215,000 per month.
The suspect started work at the factory as a Contract Security from where he rose to become an operator. However, he was formally promoted three days ago to the post of a Supervisor, when the company’s management discovered that he was a university graduate.

Former minister of state for defence,Senator Musiliu Obanikoro had refunded a fresh sum of N30m to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,with a promise to return N417m. Punch quoted a source as saying that Obanikoro transferred the said sum from his Diamond Bank account to the EFCC Recovered Funds Account. LEEDS, Ala. A 12-year-old girl died Sunday after authorities believe she was accidentally shot by a family member during a gathering in Alabama, according to multiple reports. The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office on Monday identified the girl as Kayla Mendenhall, AL.com reported. Authorities told the news site that Kayla and an adult family member were wrestling when a gun worn by the adult discharged. Kayla was shot in the upper leg and died at a hospital.
