Turkish School Kidnap: Police Arrest Another Suspect In Ughelli.

Another leader of a gang that kidnapped eight persons in Tulip International School, Isheri in Ogun State has been arrested by operatives of the Inspector General of Police Intelligence Response Team.



It was gathered that the 32-year-old suspect, Peter Ajanapo, also known as “General Osari” was arrested in Ughelli town in Delta State,south-south Nigeria.The suspect was alleged to have confessed to collecting two million Naira, as well as one hundred and fifty thousand Naira from the Tulip school and Isheri secretary kidnaps respectively as ransom.

The latest arrest makes it the eight gang member now in custody over the Isheri kidnap case,earlier arrests were made by the team in Lagos, Ogun, Ondo and Delta States.

Six dead, tens injured in DEADLY highway crash  has claimed six -The accident involved a saloon car and a bus -Five of the deceased were from the saloon car Six people lost their lives early on Sunday morning after deadly accident involving a saloon car and a bus along the Londiani-Muhoroni-Kisumu Highway . The accident occurred when the driver of the bus lost control of the vehicle and consequently swerved into the other lane, colliding with the Toyota Wish head-on. Five of the six who died on the spot were from the personal vehicle. The meeting of the Federal Executive Council that holds every Wednesday did not hold yesterday. Yesterday would have afforded President Muhammadu Buhari who returned to the country on Saturday the opportunity of presiding over the council meeting for the first time in over three months. The Kogi State Police Command on Wednesday arrested three notorious kidnappers terrorizing the state, particularly Okene axis. Jamie Harron, 27, has been sentenced to three months in jail in Dubai for touching a man's hip as he carried a drink through a crowded bar. He was arrested for public indecency at the Rock Bottom bar on 15 July. The electrician, from Stirling, claimed he was simply trying to avoid spilling his drink when he touched the man. It was thought the case against Harron might have been dropped after reports that the businessman he touched had withdrawn his complaint. But on Sunday the campaign group Detained in Dubai, which has been supporting Harron, said he had been sentenced to three months in jail for public indecency. The group said he would appeal against the jail term but he faced further court proceedings for drinking alcohol and for allegedly swearing at the businessman he touched.
