Members of the Academic Forum of the Islamic Movement, popularly known as Shiites visited the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Headquarters in Bauchi on February 1, 2017.

In a move that might bring religious unity, the visit is aimed at promoting mutual understanding and familiarization between the Islamic Movement and Christian Association of Nigeria and as a gesture of bringing Unity among people of different faith in Nigeria.
The chairman of CAN in Bauchi, Rev Joshua Maina, thanked the Academic Forum for the wonderful visit.
The Reverend expressed dismay that some media outlets were trying to incite people to turn against Zakzaky and Shia Islam, despite the fact that Shaikh Zakzaky and Shia were the most peace loving people and dedicated citizens of Nigeria.
He called on all people of conscience to shun Saudi Arabian campaign of disunity and terrorism as well as its western allies.
The Academic Forum presented a gift designed by the Academic Forum's Art and Design unit showing an image of Jesus.

72-year-old Clarence White who got fed up of his wife complaining about his inability to satisfy her sexually or financially ended up pulling the trigger on her. The man is said to have grabbed a 22-caliber handgun and shot his much-younger wife in the face at their Bronx home on Thursday morning. A  mild drama played out at the Plateau State orientation camp of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in the Mangu area of the state as two newly sworn-in corps members were reportedly caught having sex inside a gutter. The randy corps members are among the many young graduates that were recently sworn in for the Batch A Stream 1 for the compulsory one year national service. According to multiple online reports, the incident happened in the early hours of Tuesday, May 30, 2017 when some camp soldiers on parade walked in on the duo in the middle of a heated sexcapade. The man blamed the devil for pushing him into the act while the woman who is reportedly married blamed the cold weather of the state for pushing her into the act. The woman whose identity was not immediately disclosed, stated that she finds it difficult to stay away from sex for too long. Martre Lamonte Coles, Denise Monique Gay and Latoya Shantice Gay HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- Two women were charged with second-degree murder in the death of 19-year-old Martre Lamonte Coles. The Highland Springs graduate's body was found April 2 in a plastic storage container stashed behind an electrical box near the Mondelez International Inc. plant, on Gorman Road, in eastern Henrico.
