I Can Convince Arsenal to Sign Iheanacho - Alex Iwobi
Arsenal player, Alex Iwobi seems to be enjoying his on-field and off-field relationship with his Super Eagles teammate, Kelechi Iheanacho.
Arsenal forward Alex Iwobi believes he can influence a transfer move for Manchester City's Kelechi Iheanacho to the North London club.
Iwobi feels the Gunners can cash in on the 'funniest guy he knows' but doesn't see it happening in the coming months.
The 20-year-old hailed his companion with the City forward and disclosed why he would love to see him in Arsenal's traditional red and white jersey.
'I tell you, you should see us [him and Iheanacho] on Snapchat! Always bantering," Iwobi said.
"We're roommates right now and he's just the funniest guy I know.
'We do get on well off the pitch as well as on the pitch.
"Maybe I can try to convince Arsenal to sign him – but I don't think that's going to happen." Iwobi amazed everyone when a video of him speaking fluent Pidgin English was posted on Twitter by teammate Ogenyi Onazi.
And reacting to how he has learned to speak the prevalent language in the Super Eagles' camp, he said: "Everyone could speak English, I'd get along fine, but they'd all say, "come on, you need to learn your language".
"So yeah, I've learned a bit, which helps. ''When I first went I felt like I'm an alien! I know they used to take the mick out of me, and I didn't know what they were saying. But now I can understand!"

Heavily armed policemen on Tuesday in Dutse, Jigawa State capital, fired teargas canisters at a crowd that gathered at the Chief Magistrate Court Two for the arraignment of former governor Sule Lamido, who is being tried for making inciting remarks. Counsel for the Jigawa State Government, Ikenna Ekpunobi, insisted that Lamido should not be granted bail until investigation was completed. Emphasising that Lamido was charged with disturbing public peace and inciting public disturbance, Ekpunobi argued that the allegations were contrary to the provisions of the Criminal Code of Jigawa State. A middle aged man has been arrested in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital for being in possession of human parts. Tribune Online gathered that the suspect had been under surveillance of residents of Ita Kudimo, Abata Suban, Pakata area of Ilorin West local government in the past few days after speculation grew that he possessed a corpse in his building. It was also gathered that the neighbours of the suspect swooped on his residence at about noon on Sunday and the suspect was allegedly caught with human parts. Gunmen suspected to be militants on Thursday morning invaded Lagos State Model College, Igbo Nla, Epe, Lagos, abducting the principals and some students. The kidnappers were said to have stormed the school in the early hours when the students were at the morning assembly. The gunmen abducted the principal of the junior secondary school, Mr. Oyesola and Mr. Akirinmade who is the Principal of the senior secondary school. They also abducted some of the students. Sule Lamido, the former governor of Jigawa state, has attributed his arrest and perceived persecution to his desire to run for president in 2019. This was disclosed by his chief press secretary, Umar Kyari, in a chat with The Vanguard on Monday. Dhaka has a population in excess of 14 million and has recently been hit by major floods caused by heavy rains and an insufficient storm drainage system.
