CALIFORNIA DAD OF MISSING 5 YEAR OLD RELEASED FROM JAIL

LOS ANGELES –  A missing 5-year-old boy's father has been released from jail in an unexpected twist that only deepens the mystery behind the boy's disappearance.

 Investigators on Tuesday decided against presenting the case to prosecutors and moving forward with charges against Aramazd Andressian Sr., who was found unconscious Saturday at a South Pasadena park.

 His son, Armazd Andressian Jr., was nowhere to be found and remains missing four days later.

 Andressian Sr. was arrested later Saturday on suspicion of child endangerment and abduction and was being held on $10 million bail before his release Tuesday.

 Authorities would say only that the investigation was continuing, and would not say whether the father remains a suspect.

 On Tuesday authorities searched Cachuma Lake in Santa Barbara County, but now don't believe the boy was there.

Benue State Police Command has busted two kidnap syndicate of 8 including a Gang of 4 allegedly led by a woman believed to be an associate of the wanted militant leader, Terwase Agwaza, aka Gana, who a week ago abducted a businessman. The police operation also led to the arrest of three women whose responsibilities were to provide food for the victims, who was rescued alive. Japanese workers famously put in long hours, leading, in extreme cases, to karoshi, or death from overwork. Japanese media outfit, NHK, has apologized to the parents of deceased Japanese reporter, Miwa Sado, who died of heart failure after reportedly working for 159 hours of overtime in a month. Sado, who had been covering political news in Tokyo was found dead in her bed in July 2013, reportedly clutching her mobile phone. "The chairman met the parents at their home in the morning and apologised," an NHK spokesman told AFP. A government inquest a year after her death ruled that it was linked to excessive overtime. The State Security Service (SSS), on Saturday, announced the arrest of Husseini Maitangaran, a top commander of by Islamic State of West Africa (ISWA), otherwise known as Boko Haram. He was arrested in Kano on 31 August.  Maitangaran, according to a statement issued by the service, spearheaded several deadly attacks in Kano in 2012. A Jehovah's Witness convention in Angola was attacked with toxic gas on Friday, causing over 400 people to faint. A local news source, Portal de Angola, reported on Saturday that three young men were detained after the attack. According to the report, some 7,000 worshippers were at a venue on the outskirts of Luanda for the weekend-long convention. Forty-three victims were rushed to the hospital, but no deaths have been reported. A witness, Abraham Kituxi, told Portal de Angola that his sister-in-law was one of the first to collapse. She told him that she had smelled something foul before passing out. Shortly thereafter, more people began collapsing, creating panic throughout the venue. Former wrestling champion, John Eke Uti a.k.a. Power Uti, was on Tuesday brought before an Ebute Meta Magistrates' Court, Lagos, for allegedly killing his wife, Toyin. Uti, 55, was arraigned before Magistrate Bola Folarin-Williams on a two-count of murder and disrespect of corpse.
